Vegeta hacked loudly, before catching his breath and wiping his mouth, a stain of blood marking his glove; which only made Vegeta hiss in anger. Despite his pain, Vegeta forced himself upwards, standing up straight and spitting to his right, all while maintaining eye-contact with Hit.
"Have you formulated your strategy yet?" Hit finally spoke up, breaking the brief silence.
Vegeta only chuckled, as he charged his Super Saiyan Blue aura.
"My plan's to charge you head-on 'til you cry for mercy!" Vegeta shouted.
With a loud scream, Vegeta did just that, preparing a massive punch as he lept straight for Hit. With a quick shout of his own, Hit plunged his fist straight for Vegeta's stomach, who hissed in pain, before just as quickly grabbing Hit's wrist, holding it in place.
Vegeta cackled aloud. "Just like that I neutralized your advantage!"
Aiming a punch for Hit's face, Vegeta's would-be attack would be his final, as in a split-second, Hit punched using his other arm, this time far deeper and more impactful than his previous attack.
The air blasted from his throat, Vegeta's response would be a few gasps of pain.
"How... do you... this?" he managed to sputter, before depowering and falling flat onto his face; ending the match between the two.
As everyone reacted to the battle's sudden end, Hit simply turned to face the Tournament Announcer.
"It's against the rules for me to kill him, correct?"
The announcer himself hardly knew how to answer.
"Uh... yeah..?" he finally spoke up.
"Well, then. What do we do now? He can't very well announce his surrender to me, if he's knocked out."
"Uh... Hmm..." the announcer stuttered and mumbled, before suddenly getting an idea, posing dramatically as he spoke just as so. "Okay! The Winner, by knockout, Contestant Hit!"
Hit, meanwhile, barely addressed the theatrics, simply looked down at Vegeta.
"Of all the people I've fought, and taken that many of my attacks, you were the only one to live." he said to the unconscious Saiyan.
With that, Hit turned away, while Champa laughed proudly at his victory, Beerus, meanwhile hissed in frustration at his respective loss. During this time, the others attempted to find the reason for the loss, and study Hit's strategies; hoping to learn the secrets of his strength, as the preparations would be made for the next match of the Tournament.
"Alright, fans! For our next match, Contestant Hit will face off against a new face from Seventh Universe... Majin Buu!"
Surprised? See, in the universe, unlike the one you may be familiar with, Majin Buu would not fall asleep during the Tournament's Written Exam. In this universe, before the Tournament had even begun, Mr. Satan had decided to motivate Buu even further, promising the Majin that if their team returned victorious, he'd reward him with a 'Ultra-Super Buffet Celebration'.
While a simple reward, the idea of more food than he could imagine worked like a charm, and Majin Buu was able to zip through the Written Exam, managing to pass with exactly a 50 (even if it was because he was fortunate to guess most of the answers correctly). And thus, after Vegeta's defeat to Hit, Majin Buu would be the next to face up against the Legendary Hitman of Universe 6.
With a gleeful shout, Majin Buu leapt from the stands onto the tournament platform, ogling closely at Hit, before casually speaking up.
"Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Purple Man look funny! Buu ready to play with you lots!"
