What if Android 35 Was in the Tournament of Power?

Beerus chuckled to himself, as he rattled the two Potara Earrings in his palm.

"Alright... Once we have our own merged fighter, we'll be back in control."

Champa's surprise trick had paid off in spades, as the fusion of Kale and Caulfila, or Kefla, had taken the tournament by surprise, giving even Goku a run for his money. Despite the initial pushback, and accusations of cheating, the fusion technique was given the 'okay' by Grand Zeno, and so, Potara Fusions were declared fair game, not just for Universe 6, but for every universe in the tournament.

"Well then!" Shin perked up. "Might I suggest Android 17 and 18 and candidates?"

The suggestion surprised all the humans on the stands, most of all Krillin.

"Hey, now! That's my wife you're talking about!" He protested.

Krillin's complaints would fall on deaf ears, as Beerus only clenched the earrings closer, perking up at the suggestion.

"Oh yes, they are twin siblings, aren't they? That would make them well suited for merging. Good thinking, Supreme Kai!"

"We could call them 'Android 35'! That has a pleasant ring to it!"

"If I may, sirs..." Whis suddenly spoke up. "While a combined warrior would be formidable... to use such an ace-up-our-sleeves, at a time like this, may prove to be a waste, considering others may follow our lead. And considering..."

They all watched as a large explosion erupted from Kefla's battle with Goku.

Beerus rolled his eyes. "Very well... We can save this conversation for later..."

Bet I got ya, didn't I?

While, yes, in the timeline you may be familiar with, Whis would make a strong point against the merging of fighters, due to the risk of losing two fighters at once, in this timeline his point-of-view would be slightly different. It was clear that Potara Fusions were powerful, if Kefla was any indication, but with such power in mind, it was clear that other fighters would likely gang up on these fusions; even worse, these gangs could potentially consist of other fusions.

And so, it would only be until after Kefla's defeat, after Goku had been exhausted of all his energy that the real change would happen.

Ribranne and Roazie both giggled, as more of their teammates appeared, surrounding Goku.

"So, your whole team's gonna gang up on me, huh?" Goku asked, still trying to catch his breath.

"That's how love is!" Ribranne replied gleefully. "It can hit you all at once, and knock you off your feet!"

Goku only gritted his teeth, doing his best to gather his strength.

"This is our chance, Roazie! It's time to show the cosmos what we do!" Ribranne cheered to her teammate.

"Sounds good to me, Ribranne!"

With that, both magical girls would leap into the air, before landing on a rock behind them.

Goku cringed, preparing his body for whatever was to come, only to be surprised by two others who suddenly leapt in front of him: Android 17 and Android 18.

"Boy, am I glad to see you two..." Goku said through a chuckle. "Any chance I could get a hand with these guys..?"

Android 17 only gave a half-hearted smile to Goku, as a response, before turning to face his sister fully. "Tell me, 18. Does now sound good to you?"

Android 18 smiled back, half-shrugging. "Good as time as any, I guess."

With that, both Androids pulled out their trump cards from their respective pockets: Shin's Potara Earrings.
