"Another flight Hoba?" Yoongi asks incredulously when they make it back to their room at the resort.
"It won't be so bad. You complained about the last flight and you've been enjoying yourself ever since. At least you keep your suitcase packed," Hobi says, gesturing to his husband's already fully packed suitcase in the closet.
Yoongi grumbles something under his breath but Hoseok pays him no mind as he saunters into the bathroom to grab all the products he'd laid out. He had this thing about having everything in arms reach rather than having to dig through his bag for it.
"Where are we off to now?" Yoongi asks, walking past him to get to the toilet.
"It's a surprise," he says, already chuckling with amusement when Yoongi groans again before unleashing a stream of pee.
"I know you hate surprises, but this one will be worth it. I promise you'll love it, just like you've loved everything else," he says, shooting him a cheeky smile before heading into the closet to put his products away in his suitcase.
For the past four days, he and Yoongi had been island hopping in the Maldives. Their days had been jam packed with activities from snorkeling to making jewelry to enjoying local spots with live music, which were Yoongi's favorite activity to do in the evenings. He made sure there would be a break in the schedule so Yoongi could nap and while he did that, Hoseok opted to spend as much time in the water as possible. In his mind, they have to enjoy these vacations to the fullest because when they come back from the hiatus, there's no telling when they'd get another extended break like this. Sure they'd be traveling the world, but they wouldn't get a chance to enjoy it, not like this.
This next destination would be the epitome of enjoying vacation to the fullest and he couldn't wait for Yoongi to see what he had in store for him. They'd been slightly closer than usual, like sharing a bed every night and periodically holding hands when they were out—but he wouldn't quite say there was any romance in these gestures. A lot was up in the air and unspoken between them and he hopes to change that tonight.
The plane ride was short, only 30 minutes and Yoongi seemed surprised it wasn't longer. He shook his head at Hobi who was practically bouncing in his seat when they got off the plane and into a jeep. It was good seeing him genuinely happy.
To Yoongi's surprise again, they were driven to a dock where they had to get on a boat in order to reach their destination. At first, he could see nothing but water around them.
"Where are we headed? The Bermuda Triangle?" he asks, making Hobi laugh.
"You'll see," he grins, attempting to tame his hair although it was no use. The boat was going too fast.
Before long, he could see a stretch of land ahead and sure enough, that's where they were going.
"Enjoy your stay," the captain says, placing their bags up on the dock for them before taking his leave.
"Is this private?" Yoongi asks, looking up at the large house in the middle of the ocean.
