Luna groans as she answers the phone. At this point, she thinks it's the third time it's rang in the last 5 minutes.

"Girl, it's about time you decided to answer. I done called you fitty lelm times," Lola says, making her chuckle.

"Yeah well, people usually don't answer the phone when they're sleeping. What's up?" she asks, pulling the phone back to look at the time, which was a quarter til 11 am.

"I was calling to let you know that y'all's  marriage certificate went public today," Lola says and Luna could tell by the little pause after that noting good was coming behind that statement.

"Okay, is that it?" Luna sighs, rubbing one of her temples in an attempt to stop the headache forming.

"Well, yeah but—"

"I'm not tryna be an asshole Lo but if it's not important, I don't even have the energy to care right now. I feel like hot garbage," Luna says, rubbing her aching stomach.

"Understood, do you need me to find you a doctor? Now that you mention it, you don't sound too good," Lola says, her tone now laced with concern.

"Thanks, but no thanks girl. Mom is on it already. She's supposed to be calling me and letting me know when she gets the appointment set," she says and after well wishes and goodbyes, they disconnect the call.

Luna woke up earlier feeling like death warmed over and immediately texted her mom, asking her to set up an appointment. She still handled all her regular medical appointments. Yoongi had taken to handling the ones concerning her hand.

The door creeks open, the man himself slipping inside and closing the door quietly behind him, a cup of tea in his hand.

"Feeling any better?" he asks, placing it down on her bedside table before sitting down next to her, moving some hair back out of her face.

"Nope," she pouts, laying on her side and hugging her knees close as the cramps intensify.

"I brought raspberry leaf tea. Maybe that will help. It's about that time, right?" he asks and she grabs her phone, checking the date before nodding.

"Damn, I should've known," she says, sitting up against the headboard and taking the tea when he passes it to her.

"This headache is kicking my ass," she says, gingerly bringing the cup up to her lips and taking a sip. If she didn't associate this tea with pain, maybe she could appreciate it more.

Her phone rings again and it's her mom this time, letting her know she'd have to wait until after 5 when the practice closes for privacy's sake.

"Oh yeah before I forget, I told them about your IUD so if everything goes well, you can get it replaced today," Linda says and Luna frowns.

"It's been 10 years already?" she asks, unable to truly remember when she got it in the first place. See, this is why she put her mom in charge of these things.

"It'll be 10 years next week actually so unless you're trying to give me some grandbabies—who I will accept the utmost excitement—then you'd better get that thing replaced as soon as possible," she says, making Luna roll her eyes.

"Yeah, hopefully we can go ahead and get that done today," she replies.

"Darn it," Linda snaps, mumbling something about selfish kids before hanging up.
