The Legends were in disguise as firefighters while tending to the Rory house fire, trying to find Mick's younger self before The Pilgrim could.
Snart: This isn't my element.
Mick: It's mine.
Rip: Just keep a weather eye open for The Pilgrim. Gideon calculated a 97% chance that she will attack your younger self in this exact time and place.
Theta: She seems to be one for theatre. This is a defining moment in Mick's life.
Sara and Jax exited the house.
Sara: <Young Rory's not in there.>
Jax: <But we found his parents. They're dead.>
Sara: <Then where the hell is he?>
Theta looked over to the nearby field to see the young Mick sitting in witness to his act of arson while the Pilgrim came from behind him.
Theta: Ray, Pilgrim's got eyes on young Rory, they're in the field.
Ray: <Got it.>
Ray flew over and blasted the Pilgrim before she could kill Mick.

The Waverider returned to the Temporal Zone with the young Mick being held in the cargo bay being supervised by Jax. The other Legends were on the bridge, discussing their next move.
Stein: Mr. Rory. How are you feeling? I mean, your younger self.
Mick: Jax is watching him.
Stein: That young man, you, just lost his family. You might want a shoulder to cry on.
Mick: I don't cry, Professor. Oh, and, Haircut, thanks for saving me.
Ray: You're welcome. What I don't get is why doesn't The Pilgrim just go back a week earlier and kill younger Rory then?
Rip: The Omega Protocol calls for precision.
Theta: Once she made the attempt, she became part of events. Going to before that point and trying again would create one very nasty paradox.
Mick: Which means she's only got one shot at killing each and every one of us.
Rip: And we only have one shot to extract your younger selves from the timeline before she pulls the trigger.
Gideon: Sir, based on the temporal wake generated by the Pilgrim's time ship. I calculate a 96% likelihood that she is heading to Starling City circa 2007.
Theta: She's targeting Sara before she gets on the Queen's Gambit. She won't have been trained by the League yet.

STARLING CITY, 2007
As they reached the Starling City Police Department, they could already hear signs of the ensuing battle. Theta entered the building first to see that The Pilgrim was engaging the police officers while Sara was handcuffed to a table in the back. Theta quickly rushed past and went over to the young Sara.
