The Ancients Return

Part 2: A New Objective

Agent 3 goes back, going on her radio to get anyone up on the surface to respond. As she finds her way back up from the rubble, Agent 3's radio crackles to life.

Agent 1 (Callie): "Yo, you alright?! I haven't seen you up here in a while!"

Agent 3: "I'm good, I'm just heading back up!"

Agent 2 (Marie): "...From where?"

As she was about to respond, the radio starts to go static, and then shuts off, sounds of sizzling coming from the back of the radio.

Agent 3: "What the...?"

She shakes the radio, hitting it in the back a couple of times, but still nothing, some electricity comes out from it.

Sounds then start to be heard from the console, returning back to the command console to see what's wrong, she finally finds why.

"Warning, radiation levels increasing, exercise caution."

Agent 3 decides to get out now. Taking the way she came, she went up the rubble and climbed some broken pipes, finally reaching the surface, her Small Fry jumping out from the bag and running around.

Sounds of footsteps are heard, with Agents 1 & 2 running towards her, Agent 1 waving her hand excitedly,  while Agent 2 looks more concerned for Agent 3. Both of them still happy that she's okay.

Agent 2: "Agent 3! Are you alright?!"

Agent 1: "Welcome back 3!"

Agent 3 waves at them, then looks back at the crater, deciding that it's best that she leaves it alone for now, not wanting to deal with the radiation.

But, Agent 1 gets curious, and almost jumps down there, only for Agent 3 to grab her arm.

Agent 3: "Don't go down there, it's dangerous!"

Agent 1: "Why not? It looks like there's nothing down there...It's also pretty dark and steep."

Agent 3: "Some...thing told me that this 'radiation' thingy was spiking and told me to exercise caution."

Agent 1: "What thing, your gut?"

Agent 1 giggles, but Agent 2 seems to take this seriously, backing away from the hole.

Agent 2: "I'll believe you...But, what is down there?"

Agent 3 looks back, pushing a curious and frustrated Agent 1 away from the hole.

Agent 3: "Some weird-looking aircraft, I tried to activate it, but it powered down a few seconds later...It needs some sort of power source to get it working again..."

Agent 2 looks surprised, she has always theorized that there was more than just a few islands and a giant rocket, but she never found a way to prove that theory...until now.

Agent 1 overheard this, and looked back down at the hole, wanting to see this aircraft for herself, but also not wanting to get hurt by this danger in there. She decides that whatever is down there is best left alone for now.

Agent 2 goes to chat with Agent 1, while Agent 3 grabs her Small Fry, puts it in her bag, and then grabs her notepad, flipping to an empty page, and writing down her discoveries.

"This has to be the greatest discovery I've ever made. Finding an underground hangar bay, discovering a strange plane which seems to be called 'KTP-T82', and also finding some new thing called 'Eye of Terra'. I have no clue what this thing is, but for all I know...

...We've got to go grab it, before anyone else does."
