(It's a new year and we join Steven as he's waking up....)
"Another year, another 365 days of Gem bullshit I have to put up with thanks to Mom." Steven grumbled as he came downstairs where the Gems were.
"Good Morning, Steven. It's a new year which means things gotta change." Pearl said, trying to sound cool when we all know she makes Martha Stewart seem like Nicki Minaj.
"Does that mean you'll stop lying and actually tell me shit about Mom?" Steven asked.
"Hell no. You know I can't do that without covering my mouth. I was talking about you having more trust in us and Connie. Mainly Connie with your phone." Pearl said.
"Both of you can kiss my ass on that. I already told you I'm not letting her scan my goddamn phone, so both of you can go---" Steven began to say until the door opened and in walked Connie.
"Hey Bae~ Where's your phone?" Connie asked.
"Fuck off. I'm not letting you see it." Steven said as Pearl crossed her arms.
"Don't talk to my daughter like that. You two are going to be married one day, so you have to build trust, Steven!" Pearl said as Amethyst looked at her as if she was the biggest cosigner in the world.
"Married? You must be outta your mind!" Steven snapped.
"You proposed to me on the fucking beach!!!" Connie snapped.
"Yeah while I was fucked up in the head! Now that I'm sane and actually thinking clearly, why would I marry you? You're one of the reasons I was fucked up in the head anyway!!!" Steven snapped back.
"What?!? These Gem bitches are more the reason for that shit than I am! Yet you still fuck them! Think I didn't know about that shit with you and Peridot? Think again!" Connie shot back .
"Say what? You probably at those study groups sucking guys off under the table while they trying to do algebra or something! I wouldn't be surprised if you sucked Peedee off that time you were pissed at me for saving your ass!" Steven snapped.
"That was only one time!!! Uh...I mean.....that shit isn't important! Either you let me scan your phone or I'm done with you!" Connie snapped as Steven walked to the door and opened it
"I'd say don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, but you'd need an ass for it to hit." Our boy said as Connie stomped out the door as the Hybrid Chad closed it like a boss.
"Well that was a mess!" Pearl exclaimed as she stomped to her room.
"Fuck. What a way to start the new year." Steven said as he looked at his phone....and notcied Peridot had sent him a message with a picture attached to it:
"Saw that bitch leave all mad. Need some therapy?~"
Steven didn't need to be told twice. This new year might not start off so bad after all.
