"Morning Doctor. How are things!" Sidney smirked as she entered the therapy room once again."Please, Miss Grey I really want to get somewhere with you this time." Doctor Jennings said, cleaning her glasses then putting them on. "Now, I want to ask you about why you refer to people as... worms.."
Sidney Grey gave a silent chuckle. "It's the simple rule of nature my dear doctor."
"Mind clarifying that for me?"
Sidney sighed, rolling her eyes. "Look, there are two types of people in the world. Birds and worms. Birds are the supreme, they have to eat the worms to survive."
Doctor Jennings looked at Sidney, disgusted by what she said. "You're comparing humans to the instinct of an animal. That isn't right. It's sick!"
Sidney, with a sudden burst, leaned close to the doctor. Her face looked like she had been fueled with rage. "Comparing? Sick? Oh no dear doctor! This isn't a comparison. It's the truth. We're no different from birds and worms. You, for example, are a worm. That's why I'm chained up. You are protecting yourself from a bird. Truth is, you can't." Sidney leaned back on her chair, still focusing on the doctor. "Another example, the common people and the rich. The rich are the birds. The common people are worms. The rich with all their money and power can out do that of what the worms have. It's the natural system of life. Get it?"
Doctor Jennings was struck by fear with Sidney's sudden burst before. What she had said about herself being a worm didn't exactly help with her case either. "Sidney..." Doctor Jennings said, stuttering. "What does that make Batman?"
"A fool who believes that the worms can be saved. Batman himself can be a bird, he could join us birds but he is blinded by the image of his head that you worms can be saved. Truth is, I was also blinded by this. But then I was put on the right path when the law couldn't except me as a protector of worms."
Doctor Jennings wrote down notes in her notepad. "Sidney, you were thrown off the GCPD because your actions threatened lifes, and you were doing well at Arkham."
Sidney laughed. "My methods were fantastic. It got rid of criminals, making it impossible for them to harm again." Sidney bursted foward to the doctor again. Dr. Jennings was again scared. "And at Arkham I was just a common lap dog." Sidney laughed again. "Just like you..."
The Doctor gathered up her notes. "That's enough for today...."
Sidney laughed as she took the doctor's pen. "Not till I say so."
"Sidney.. what are you doing."
Sidney got up from her chair, stabbing Doctor Jennings in the eye. Doctor Jennings let out a painful scream. Sidney then took the doctor's hair pin, using it to unlock the cuffs. When they were unlocked, Sidney punched Doctor Jennings in the face then took the doctor's gun that was in her coat. A standerd pistol. She then heard guard coming into the room.
She pointed her gun at the door and waited.
.......
Sidney Grey raised her hands at she looked at the freeze gun being pointed at her. "Alright then." Sidney gave Mr. Freeze a fake smile. At the side, she could see Catwoman running away, escaping from the huge hole in the wall. Sidney then looked inside the bag with the diamond in it. She was fake searching with her left hand, while on her right, she got out a gadget from her bio suit's belt.
"Found it!" Sidney shouted as she threw the gadget at Mr. Freeze's helmet. The gadget made a high pitched noise, causing Mr. Freeze to be stunned by the sound. Sidney started to make a run for the wall. Mr. Freeze grabbed the device and crushed it. He aimed for Sidney as she was running, shooting her with his freeze gun. Her legs had been frozen.
Crap, Sidney thought. Mr. Freeze was walking over to her. While he was doing that, she looked at her right wrist. She had a speical weapon control on his bio suit's wrists. They were able to create or shoot any type of weapons. She set the weapon control to flame thrower. When Mr. Freeze got close to her, she shot him with the flame thrower, then melted herself out. Mr. Freeze backed off a bit, but then started to shoot her again with her freeze gun. Sidney shot off his ice beams from the gun with the flame thrower.
And I thought I won't need these flame throwers, Sidney thought to herself.
Sidney then rolled out of the way he was shooting and started to run along the walls, Mr. Freeze's ice beams behind her trying to hit her. Sidney then set her weapon's controller to grapple and shot it at the roof of the muesum, which had an open space for her to escape.
As she started to go upwards to the roof, Mr. Freeze froze off the grapple, causing it to break and for Sidney to fall back on the ground. Mr. Freeze was able to shoot her again but Sidney fought back the beam with her flame thrower, only using her left arm. Mr. Freeze was walking closer to her, the closer he got, the lower the flames got. With her right hand, she threw another device at Mr. Freeze's helmet. When it went off, glue started to cover his helmet, causing him not to see. He stopped shooting his freeze gun, trying to get the glue off. When he was doing this, Sidney set her wrist weaponry to taser. Electricity flowed through her two arms.
Sidney charged towards Mr. Freeze, tasering punching him in the stomach with both her hands. Mr. freeze fell to the ground. Sidney set her wrist weapons back to normal as she saw Mr. Freeze on the ground.
Interesting, she thought, his suit's coldness is still running even though he has fainted.
Sidney was about to look more into his tech when she saw a shadow of a bat behind her. The shadow had landed on the floor of the museum.
"Took you long enough." Sidney mumbled. "Where were you when I was kicking Mr. Freeze's ass."
Batman narrowed his eyes at her. "Just give me the diamond back and we will be fine."
Sidney smirked as she extended her right hand, holding the bag. "Here."
Batman used his detective vision to see if there was anything besides the diamond in the bag. It was all clear. He started going to get the bag from Sidney. As he came close enough, Sidney quickly set her wrist weaponry to taser and shocked Batman on the neck with her left hand. While he was stunned for a few seconds, Sidney quickly grabbed Mr. Freeze's freeze gun, freezing Batman all the way until his belt was frozen too. She left his upper half unfrozen.
"Have fun, Bats!" Sidney said as she saulted him while making a run for for the hole in the wall, grappling to the nearest building's roof top. She started running through the roof tops, parkouring until she got far enough from the museum. Sidney was about to call Penguin when her thermal scanners picked up a life force nearby her.
She turned around to see Catwoman, going to sneak attack her from behind. When Catwoman was about to kick her in the face, Sidney grabbed Catwoman's foot and threw her away. Catwoman flipped but landed on her feet.
"Can't you just give up? Or do I have to kill you nine times until you do?" Sidney said, getting out her two dessert eagles and pointing them at her.
"I don't give up when there's something I want. And you have it."
"Well then." Sidney smirked and put her duel dessert eagles away. "Come and get it then." Sidney spread her arms out.
Catwoman pounced on Sidney, as espected. When she pounced on Sidney, she was shocked by Sidney's shield that she set up when she put her guns away. Catwoman fell on the ground, and Sidney kicked her in the face, knocking her out.
"Now I can't have a dead kitten on the path I went to escape." Sidney looked down at a fire escape at a dark alley. She set Catwoman down in the fire escape then went to meet up with Penguin's employor waiting for her.
It was been 3 weeks since Sidney Grey had stolen that diamond. She had been doing a few jobs for herself, mostly taking technology and upgrading herself.
But then one day, Batman managed to track her down when she was in a hidden apartment for herself. She wasn't able to escape but she was able to fight back. She put up a hard fight with her acrobatic abilities but without her suit she wasn't a match for Batman's gadgets. She was taken to Arkham Asylum, where she was having to do therapy courses with her former Arkham friend, Doctor Emma Jennings.
