Chapter 20

Stella's POV

I reached my phone from the bed side table and not happy to see that its already 10 minutes pass five in the morning. I still feel tired, I got shocked to the sudden pull I felt from my breast and surprised to see Aia still latched onto me. I can't help but just adored her. She's so cute. I kissed her head and snuggle up with her more. I wouldn't change this for anything but I have to get up. Did she also used me as her pacifier the whole night? My nipple feels a little sore actually.

I'm glad to see her pacifier beside her and took it. I gently unlatched her and quickly replaced my nipple with the pacifier. She groaned but I manage to get her back to sleep after awhile. I'm also relieved that her temperature becomes normal, so no need for a hospital visit. I go back to the guest room to get a shirt and get dressed. I don't have plans on my breast being exposed the whole time.

Once I get back to her room I checked Aia's diaper to see if she needs a diaper change. And yes it's on the verge of leaking. I gathered all the items needed and carefully take off her pajamas, undo the tape of the diaper, lift up her legs and I wipe her down front to back. I did try do it as quick as I can though it made her cry still due to the coldness of the wipes. She kicked her legs slightly and cried loudly.

"It's okay baby, Mama will do it fast." I cooed at her.

"There you go!" I gave her a tummy rubs after putting back her pajamas on but she continues to cry. I picked her up and she instantly wrapped her legs and arms to me and she lays her head on my shoulder. I sway her side to side as I hold her bum to support her weight.

I decided to feed her again so I don't need to pump out the milk for this morning, she drained the other boob anyway. I take a sit on the rocking chair she also had in her room and cradle her in my arms. I lift up my shirt and rub my nipple to her lips and she immediately latched onto my boob and took a deep breath then suck hard on it.

"Gentle baby" After sometime on suckling, she's out like a light again, I put her back to bed and give her, her paci and kissed her head before I left.

Today, Richard will come home so I thought I make breakfast for him and Aia too before I go. I need to go home to get ready for work too.

"What are you doing, Stella?" I heard a man from behind asking and I know who is it.

"Hi Richard, Good morning!" I greeted him without looking to his direction. I am busy making waffles for my little girl and frying bacon and egg.

"I'm cooking for Aia and... for you!?" I added and smiled when I looked on his direction.

"I hired someone and she will come today, you don't have to." he said.

"Well, I thought I should, before I leave, Aia will be so hungry." I explained.

"Stella, I can't thank you enough, thank you so, so much! I owe you a lot!" Richard said to me.

"You're welcome. Anytime. As long as its for Aia." I smiled at him.

"No worries, I'll compensate you for all the trouble." He said again.

"Richard, It's fine! I willingly do it for your niece. I loved the time I spent with her." I replied back.

"Okay, All done, l'll go now cause I can't be late for work and I really need to talk to you about Aia. I'll explain it after work." I stated then I hurriedly left him in the kitchen to get my things in the living room.

"And please tell the little girl, I'll call her." I reminded him once more by shouting a little when I was in the living room.

"Stella, you don't have to go to work you can take the day off." I heard him say.

"Richard, you know I can't. Bye!" I said my good bye.

Aia's POV

"Mama?" I called for mama as I try to rub the sleep away from my eyes. I feel a little sad when I woke up alone in my bed.

"Wer yu, mama?" I'm starting to feel like crying and feel upset when no one answers. A tear fell from my eyes but wiped it right away. I need to be brave girl.

I get up from the bed and go downstairs and I called mama again.

"In here, Aia!" I think I heard uncle-daddy calling from the kitchen.

I go to the kitchen hoping to see mama and uncle-daddy.

"Dada!" I run and jumped at him and he catched me and instantly picked me up.

"Good morning, sweetheart! He said and kissed my head.

"I mis chu, uncle-dada." I kissed him back on the cheeks.

"I miss you lots and lots, darling honey bee." he told me as he holds me tighter.

"Stella, made you breakfast, let's get you settled here so you can-" He tried to put me down on my feet but I hold onto him tightly and I cut his words.

"My mama? Wers mama?" I asked him curiously as I tilt my head.

"Your mama? You know the answer to that, Little one." He replied to me but I know what he meant.

"Nu nu nu uncle-dada, wers mama?" I asked him and pout and about to cry again.

"Your mom is in heaven, darling, you know that." He told me again. I cry so loudly after hearing that I don't mean my mother, I'm asking for my mama.

"nu dada, my mama, wers mama?" I squirm in his hold and struggled, I shouted to dada as loud as I can and beat his chest while crying so hard.

"Aia, Darling, I'm so sorry you missing your mom too much." He tried to console me as he still holding me closer to him.

"You mean! Ma-mama not in heaven!!!" I screamed at him and squirmed harder and able to get out of his hold. I stomped my feet then I fell on my butt. I throw myself on the floor and cry as loud as I can.

"Mama!"
