"I wanna go home, Ella. Come on! Let's go!" Aia pulled her hands trying to get Stella to stand up. She has been bothering Stella for the last few hours to go early out at work and get home soon. She was wearing a lose pants and oversized shirt pair with her favorite white sneakers. Her now pass shoulder length messy hair is on pony tail."Honey, 30 more minutes before we clock out. Let's wait a little more, please?" Stella encourages her as she gestures Aia to turn around so she can fix her hair.
The ride home was silent, Aia instantly fell asleep few minutes after she gets in the passenger seat, she is exhausted obviously. The two had a long day at the office. Aia made herself busy with the designs she's working on. Stella was too focused on all the paper work she has to finish placed at her table. She's not doing just a secretarial work now but also the finance. Alice finally retired from her work and Richard asked her to take over for the mean time until they have someone to take over the position. That made her too busy and occupied with work. Though Richard let her work from home, she can't do it after she took over Alice's position. It's been a week since she's back in the office working.
Aia has been in her big headspace for the last 3 days and Stella feels a bit guilty about it. The little one is needing more attention now, she becomes so clingy with her Mama and want more of her time. Stella did everything she knows and tries to help to get her to slip but the little girl is refusing. She feels awful to see the little one fighting it and knowing Aia needs it more than anything.
Now it's bed time, knowing how much Aia needs loving and comfort, she did try again. Stella ask the young girl if she wants to sleep in her room tonight. The latter gladly agrees on the idea and brightens the little girl's face.
They are already in bed, snuggling and getting comfortable, Aia wore her favorite princess jammies. Her mama lets her watch the tv as Stella doing a skin care routine. Aia suddenly stands up on the bed and choose to sit between her mama's thighs and lean her lower back against Stella's.
"Mommy, where are your mini dimples here?" she asked out of curiosity. The little girl is looking at her thigh, pointing at each and squeezing it like she's searching for it though she really can not see any. Stella is wearing a short shorts and a tank top as they cuddling on the bed.
"What you mean, princesa?" Stella asks confusedly, she takes off the cold cucumber on her eyes, look back to Aia and furrowed her brows.
"Those mini dimples here on your thigh?" Aia tries to explain as she points repeatedly on Stella's upper part of her legs.
"Hmmm... dimples?" The lady wondering what she meant. "Do you mean Cellulite?" she asks back, as she putting back the cucumbers on her eyes.
"I don't know? Is that what's it called?" Shrugging her shoulders followed by tilting her head. "My other caregivers before have it. It's funny, not cute though!" Aia added and giggles and brings her hand to her mouth to cover.
"I guess, I don't have it baby and I wish not to have it." She answered plainly. Finally removing her face mask which was on her face for the last 15 minutes and the cucumbers.
"Why not?" The little girl inquired as she frowns and pursing her lips.
"Because I like how my thighs don't have it." Stella says, sitting on bed and reached for the girl by picking her up from her armpit to bring her closer.
"But why do they have it." Aia asked again with much curiosity visible on her face.
"Maybe because they don't walk a lot, or maybe because of genetics, Baby girl, I don't know, really!" Stella said as they laying back down on the bed embracing the little one laying on top of her as she puts Aia's head on her chest. Stella rubs her back in circles trying to put her to sleep.
