Chapter 14

Mr. and Mrs. Villarama

"The problem is that may iba pang mga taong may shares din sa Villarama Group ang may ayaw na si Castiel ang sumunod na mamuno nito." Dad said.

I looked at my father. "Why would they?" Castiel is the rightful successor of the Villarama Group.

Daddy sighed a bit. "Maybe because baka hindi na rin sila makapagnakaw pang muli sa kompanya kung mapapalitan na ang namamahala nito..." He said.

Apparently, Hazel trusted her husband to the point na sekreto na pala itong nakakapangialam sa kompanya. At naging kakontsaba pa nito ang ilang stockholders and they agreed to their wrongdoings in the company.

Mukhang napabayaan na nga ang kompanya... Pero kaya pa itong ibangon muli at ayusin.

Maybe it's the reason why the madam was also worried about the status of the company. Dahil kahit siya ay hindi rin maasikaso ito because she was busy raising and trying to protect her young grandkids in Cebu.

"It's the best way I see to eliminate those people who want Castiel to fail as the successor of the Villarama Group of Companies..." I said.

Papalabasin lang naman namin that the Villarama Group would announce bankruptcy. And then those who made the anomalies in the company, alam nila na kulang pa ang mga shares nila para magbayad sa mga nakuha nila sa kompanya na sobra-sobra na. And they're already probably thinking right now na idadamay na rin sila ni Tony Corpuz dahil nahuli na rin naman ito. At sabay-sabay silang babagsak.

Hindi rin maaasahan ngayon ang isa pang taong may malaki rin share sa kompanya, si Hazel Villarama na abala pa sa nangyayari sa asawa niya na makukulong sa kasalanan nito at sa mangyayari sa pamilya nila. Kaya naman mawawalan sila ng choice kung 'di magbenta ng shares nila para mapigilan ang iisipin nilang tuluyang pagkalugi at pagkadamay sa pagbagsak ng Villarama group...

We will prepare everything. I will do everything for Castiel to stand atop where he should be. At tutulungan ko siyang patunayan sa lahat na siya ang karapatdapat na mamuno ng Villarama Group.

And at the end of it all, nagtagumpay rin kami ni Daddy sa mga plano namin. Alam din naman ni Madam Villarama ang ginawa namin ni Daddy. And she approved of it.

Now the Villarama Group of Companies is in a better state before Castiel would sit in his position in the company.

And Madam Villarama became the Chairman. Dahil nakakulong na rin si Tony Corpuz at wala nang gaanong banta sa mga buhay nila ng mga apo niya kaya naman lumipat na rin sila ni Haniel sa Manila.

"Mrs. and Mr. Castiel Villarama, the new CEO of Villarama Hotels and Resorts." And Castiel was finally properly introduced.

I clapped my hands, too. And after Castiel gave his speech on the stage in front of everyone. I feel proud for him.

And then he went back to my side just after he got off of the stage.

"You did well." I said to him.

Bumaling naman siya sa akin at ngumiti. "All thanks to my wife." He said while looking into my eyes.

Ngumiti lang din ako sa kaniya.

At isa-isa at sunudsunod na rin kaming binati ng mga importante ring tao sa kompanya.

"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Villarama." Ngumiti sa amin ni Castiel ang isang ginang na wife din ng isang shareholder ng kompanya.

"Thank you, Madam." And I started to politely make a conversation with her, too.

At sobrang naging abala na namin ni Castiel sa party.

That after it, bagsak na lang ako agad pagdating namin sa bahay namin. Pagkatapos ko lang din mag-night bath at makapagbihis ay nakatulog na rin akong agad. Hindi ko na nga alam at maalala pa kung maayos rin ba akong nakapag-skin care bago nakatulog.

I was so exhausted with everything that's happened before this success. But I'm happy for us. I'm happy for Castiel.

"You can't sleep with your hair still wet from the shower, Hasmine." I heard Castiel saying this to me.

Pero pikit na ang mga mata ko. I'm really sleepy now.

"Please get up for a bit. I'll help you dry your hair first. Before you go to bed." He said.

Nakapikit pa rin ang mga mata ko nang maupo na lang din ako sa kama namin. And then Castiel went to my side and started to blow dry my hair.

At kahit pagod na talaga ako at gusto ko na lang matulog ay hinayaan ko na muna siyang gawin ang gusto niya.

Napangiti rin ako sa ginagawa niya. I like it that he's taking care of me now...

And I just want to take care of him, too.

I want us to just stay like this as much as we can...

I would stay by his side. And I want him to stay by my side, too...

If only we can do this always...
