Y/N's POV:
I kept on interacting with Ellie and the more I did I hated her a lot less. It was confusing this sudden change in both our behaviour, well mainly mine. Ellie seemed like she didn't hate me all that much, but how could I know? The fight with my mother completely left my brain and all I could think about was Ellie Williams. I got up once she was way out of my sight and walked to Dina's house. Dina will know exactly what's going on with this Ellie drama, if Jesse is not there and I really hoped not. After a good 30 minutes of walking I reached Dina's front door and knocked on it as hard as I could. The door opened slightly and when Dina saw me she opened the door fully. She was wearing a grey tank top, sweatpants and her hair was in a messy bun. "You look pretty." Were the first words I could think of to say. "Thanks, N/N come inside." She said and pulled me in which saved me from the cold. I took of my shoes and left them on the shoe rack. "Jesse isn't here?" I asked praying he wasn't. "No not today." She said raising an eyebrow. "Just shocked." I teased which caused Dina to roll her eyes hard. "You hungry? My mum made stew." She asked and gestured to a pot on the stove. "Gosh I'm starving. Where are your mum and dad though?" I asked. "They're on a date it's so adorable I hope Jesse and I are like that when we're older. Talia is out as well" She said with joy. "Oh my god Talia is here and you didn't tell me!" I practically screamed which caused her to roll her eyes. "She just got back like two days ago, but yeah Jesse and I are nearly together for 3 months." I love how she thinks high school relationships last, but who knows with Jesse and Dina. I helped myself to stew and sat down at the dining room table. "You don't have work tomorrow? I feel like I haven't spoken to you in forever." She groaned. "No work lucky me and I have your clothes on." I said and pointed to her outfit which was on me. "You look cute in those." She complimented and sat down across me. "I had a fight with my mother." I started. I absolutely couldn't hold it in and I so needed to rant. "What happened?" Dina asked looking all concerned. "She invited my dad over without permission and I shouted at my father and then things got heated so I left." I said with a shrug. "Ugh your dad is gross." Dina said with disgust. "I don't understand why she loves to have us together in one place as if he didn't ditch her the moment she wanted independence." I said angrily. "Your mother needs to watch some thewizardliz." Dina joked. "No seriously she does." I said with a chuckle. "Maybe you should tell your dad that you don't want to see him." She said. "My mum is working for him and who knows what he'd do if I cut him off." I said with irritation of the thought. "Have you talked to your mum about it?" Dina asked concerningly. "Yes and she just says but he's your father." I said mocking my mother. Dina patted me on the back and kissed my forehead. "It's okay libling. Things will work out. Apart from all that drama how was your day?" She asked lovingly. I leaned into Dina's touch and it felt so good to be loved. Dina's going to be a great mum if she ever has a kid or even kids. "Absolutely awful." I groaned. She just nodded her head waiting to hear more. "This guy Seth is apparently the chef at the Tipsy Bison and he called me a dyke and then Ellie got super angry about it which got her into trouble." I said summarising as much as possible. "I hear you, but I need details." She said with a chuckle which caused me to sigh at the thought of repeating this day. I ended up telling her everything from the Seth drama to my park conversation. "So Ellie wants to be your friend?" Dina questioned at the end of my rant. "I'm not sure, but is that all you've grasped from my day." I said doubting that she'd actually want to be my friend. "I mean if she hated you wouldn't she be a whole lot nastier? She defends you then strikes up a conversation?" Dina questioned. "Okay fair point, but maybe her revenge is ongoing." I said in fear of facing more of Ellie's revenge. "You have such a negative mindset just see how things go I'm sure you've both matured." Dina said reassuringly. I hugged Dina tight and she held me back. "I'm tired Dino." I said with a yawn. "Let's go to sleep then N/N." She replied. Dina and I quickly fell asleep on her bed cuddling like old times.
