It was around 2 in the morning when there was a knock on the hotel door.
The sun was tucked cozily into its bed with most of Hungary following bar the night owls who liked to party or game maybe even be batman...
Lita let out a small groan of annoyance as she heard knocking on the door yet again disturbing her from her slumber.
As she began to sit up still half asleep she felt the tight grip of the Dutchman's arms around her loosen and eventually slipping to her legs as she rested against the bed frame she didn't even hear him come in
rubbing her eyes that refused to stay open lita bashed her around the nightstand making unruly racket until she eventually found the small switch of the bedside lamp and flicked it on causing her eyes to burn of the sudden light and a deep groan of displeasure coming from beside her.
As the person knocked again she felt like snapping out loudly to 'shut the fuck up' but kept her mouth shut as she remember the hotel she was staying in and the guests who were most likely still happily asleep unlike her lucky bastards.
"Where are you going" a deep voice spoke up as he watched her get out of bed with distaste but the tired limbs of his arms refused to reach out and grasp lita by her hips to pull her back into bed since she was already crossing the room
"Someone's at the door" she sighed causing the man to groan in annoyance as he sat up in the bed and grumbled lowly under his breath in dutch.
Peeling open the hotel door ready to yell at whoever had disturbed the two drivers, she was greeted by the sight of a flushed blonde women
"He kissed me" that's all lita needed to gain energy as her eyes slowly widened and let out a small squeal before the two girls grasped each others arms and began jumping around like mad people
Max watched the two dumbfounded from his position on the bed as he ran a hand through his messy brown hair.
Slowly getting up and rising to his full height as the two girls came further into the room giggling, he stretched and let out another groan off distaste
As Tori walked past him to the kitchen, to excited with what had happened the hour prior max walked past a giddy lita and kissed her forehead on the way by as he went into the bathroom to take a shower.
Smiling softly as the bathroom door closed over lita turned back to Tori who hadn't even noticed what had just happened and joined the blonde in the kitchen.
The two spent a good half hour giggling and going over every little detail of the date Tori had had with Fernando
From when he brought her pink Lillie's when he picked her up to what had went down during dinner then to the juicy stuff off him ending up kissing her in the middle of the rain on the way back to the car since the had both ended up getting splashed by a car and he thought she looked cute. even if she was soaking wet like a dog
Lita doted over the whole thing, with being a romantic person at heart with all the books of romance (that unbelievably raised her standards off the charts), she had read and still continued to read now a days, she felt like she was gonna explode over the fairy tail like experience of her pr manager.
By the time max had came back out of the bathroom after killing his time in the shower with not wanting to interrupt the two, Tori had already left and lita was back sitting down in bed clearly over her high of excitement
Watching him dry his hair with a towel she offered max a guilty smile.
"I'm sorry we woke you up" she bite down on her bottom lip as she watched him quietly
"I don't mind Lonnie, it seemed all so important" he mocked as he set down the towel in the bathroom and came back towards the bed
Lita couldn't help roll her eyes at his comment but also smile at the same time.
Slipping back into the bed he wrapped his arms around her hips and rested his cheek against her lower stomach "m, in all seriousness I don't mind. I don't think I've ever seen you that excited Lonnie"
Her cheeks flushed slightly as she laid fully down and began to run her hand through his still damp hair which earned her a low groan of approval.
"Yeah well it kinda feels like when your reading an enemies to lovers book and you know they'll eventually end up together, everyone knows they're destined to be even if they both would rather die than admit. But then there's that one moment, that one final moment where they don't care and they kiss..." she bit her bottom lip as she looked up at the ceiling.
Max's breathing slowly began to calm as the world of sleep began to cling to his body and with the running of litas had through his hair, he couldn't bare to move away from this peace
"Maybe that's us" he mumbled quietly as he dozed off with a firm hold off litas hips
"Maybe..."
