"So your telling me you just magically happened to know that darth Vader was luke and leia's father?" Lita starred at the blonde woman in disbelief. She couldn't tell if Tori wasn't just messing with her or not
"I'm telling you lita, as soon as I heard the name darth Vader it clicked" Tori spoke giggling "darth Vader literally translated to dark father in German"
Now that was something lita couldn't argue with.
It was currently the night before the Spanish qualifying prix. The two girls deciding to spend a chill night in lita's hotel room, Tori knew how stressed lita could get when it came to the night before qualis, so with a bottle of wine and a packet of sugary gummy warms (per request by lita each time) she settled down in the young racers room and put on the notebook in the background.
"So." Lita look over to Tori with a mischievous grin. "gotta anything new to tell me" She wiggled her eyebrows teasingly as she bit into a blue sugary gummy worm.
"What like" Tori spoke up with a puzzled look.
"Oh you know" lita shrugged lightly "you and a certain Spanish driver". her grin only continuing to grow as she saw the pr managers cheeks flush in the dark room that was only being lit by the hotel rooms tv.
"I don't know what your on about" Tori tried to dismiss flustered. "Oh don't bull shit me Tori, you and Alonso obviously have something going on behind closed doors" lita snorted
"We do not!" Tori quickly yelped. "our relationship is professional only."
"Oh don't play that card Tori, even Christian can see something is going on" Lita spoke up with a giggle. "he always asks if your around the paddock, he brings you a chocolate donut when he knows your here" she listed off teasingly, "and not to mention anytime we happen to go out after the race he either just magically appears in the same club or he texts to make sure you get home okay"
"So? It's normal for good friends to do that" denied Tori
"Oh please" lita rolled her eyes, "if you actually noticed how that man looked at you something might actually happen"
"He doesn't like me like that" Tori shook her head in denial, "he's just a good friend"
"You wish he wasn't though" lita giggled "lita!" Tori yelped embarrassed
"I'm just telling the truth" she shrugged
"Can we move on, please?" Tori begged feeling her face grow hotter. "How are you feeling about tomorrows race?" Lots turned her attention from the movie over to the blonde girl
"I'm feeling good, practise had been good" lita nodded anxiously which tori immediately picked up on, reaching over she placed a warm hand on the brunettes cold one.
"I know last year Spain wasn't exactly one of your top strong suits but you've got to remember you gained more experience since then" Tori offered a comforting smile as she finished her glass of wine off before looking over to the beside clock and seeing it was already 1:04 in the morning
"Jesus it's already 1?" Tori giggled "I'm just that cool of a person to hang out with that you forget about time" lita shrugged cockily.
"We both know if I don't go now I'll have to stick around with a moody you" Tori snickered as she got off the bed and slipped her jumper back on while lita paused the movie and sets her gummy worm packet down
"Hey I'm not that bad of person to be around when I'm tired" she pouted jokingly, as she also stood up and walked to the hotel room door with Tori
"please, who are you trying to fool" spoke Tori as she walked out into the hotel hallway, lita leaning against the doorframe
"whatever you say Tori" she giggled "thank you for tonight, I really needed a distrac-" lita all of a sudden got cut off as the elevator doors from down the hall pinged and opened with the following sound of boisterous laughing
Lando Norris stumbled out of the elevator slightly as he continued to laugh at whatever had been said following closely behind chuckling along was max.
The two boys just haven came back from a Spanish club they had found. Both girls attention was immediately drawn down the hall to the sound
Lita couldn't help but roll her eyes at the sight of the disruptive two. As the two boys continue to walk up the hall their eyes immediately landing on the older blonde women standing in the hallway and the brunette leaning against a hotel doorframe
A grin immediately formed on a clearly drunk landos face while a look of annoyance appeared on max's
"Is that little lolly I see" lando giggled drunkingly as the two approached the girls
"Good evening or well should I say morning lando" lita grinned "look like someone had a good night"
"Oh I definitely did." Lando and max stopped in-front of the two "how could you tell" he continued to giggle
"Just an wild guess" lita laughed as she immediately ignored the Dutch man's presence. Max stood with a his arms crossed and bored look on his face as the two conversed, he was wearing a black button up shirt with the collar and too button undone along with a pair of dark blue jeans.
"Sorry to Interrupt but I'll see you three tomorrow" Tori butted in before offering one last smile as she walked down the hall to take the elevator to her floor, only receiving two réponses in return which wasn't a surprise.
"You know" lando spoke up "I think I might be a little drunk" he giggled receiving an unamused look from max
"I think a little is a bit of an understatement lando" lita giggled bring max to stare down at her along with lando sighing with a frown before bringing the girl into a random hug
"your so nice to me lolly, will you be my best friend?" Lando hiccuped as lita patted his back accepting the hug happily as max stared at the two with a usual unreadable expression
"Okay that's enough lando, let's get you to bed" max rolled his eyes as he gently pulled the boy away from her which cause lita to look up to him annoyed
"Goodnight lolly" lando sleepily grinned before walking off down the hall leaving the two team mates alone.
The two stood in silence as lita stared up at him annoyed and vice versa with max staring down at her annoyed, the two stayed like this for a good minute or two before max broke the 'staring contest' by turning and walking down the hall after lando
However, as he walked away he didn't notice lita's gaze falling upon the bit of his neck that was just his unbuttoned coller where a slight lipstick mark could be seen.
That night Lolita laid in the hotel rooms bed filled with an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach after the whole interaction but that was quickly forgotten as she drifted off to sleep ready for qualifying tomorrow.
