The sound of chirping birds filled through the window
It was slowly mixed like hydrogen and carbon with the sound of the curtains rustling with the lightly breeze.
The was a warm glow in the room as the sun joined the chirping birds and the curtains rustling to say hello
But something about the mood...the air in the room felt different
Special.
The glistening blue pool like eyes that max had slowly opened as he looked around the hotel room, almost forgetting where he was
He could feel his hair sticking to his forehead and his body stiff from the night before but apart from that he almost smiled at the warm feeling across his stomach
Lonnie.
Her hair was a mess of a birds nest as her limbs laid sprawled out here and there, making it hard to tell where she started and where she ended
The soft breaths that past her lips gently hit his skin leaving a trace of tingles in its passing
Everyone has a moment in their life that they wish the could stay in forever. Whether it's with a beloved family member or a special occasion they still wish upon a star to stay in that time loop forever on
And this right here was that for max.
As lita seemed to shift her well deserved snooze, max let his hands rub down her back slowly
His face almost pulling into a smirk as he felt the way small goosebumps would be left in the wake of his rough fingers going up and down her spine.
But as he felt her snuggle her face into his chest more he felt his heart skip a beat...and another just like it did anytime she was near or ached anytime she was afar
It was funny to think that the brunette didn't know how much an affect she had on him...
As max began to get lost in his thoughts he soon cleared his throat as lita peeled her eyes open and let out an unpleased grumble as her honey coloured eyes was met with the sight of 08:02 on the hotels bed side clock
Letting out a chuckle that cause his chest to rattle gently as max combed his fingers into her hair
"It's too early for this" lita let out a quiet huff as she moved under the covers and clung to the warmth that Max's body seems to be providing for her
"Any time before 1 is too early for you" he hummed out amused as he looked to the ceiling
"Oh hush" the brunette grumbled back while popping her head out of the covers with a frown
God that pout made his stomach swirl.
Moving his hand up to her cheek, Max traced his thumb across her bottom lip feeling the softness
"How are you feeling" the Dutch asked quietly as her head fell forward into his chest causing him to roll his eyes
"My thighs are sore" lita huffed allowing max to form a crooked smirk
"Means I did my job right" earning himself a lightly smack on his chest
"Your so gross" she rolled her eyes back at him
"You did think so last night" he hummed lazily as the brunette pulled away and quickly pulled his shift from the previous night off the floor and over her head
She gave him a dirty look at his words causing him to let out a boisterous laugh as she made her way into the ensuite
"I'm just saying sweetheart" he sung out mockingly as a scoff rung through the bathroom
God he wished he could stay in Texas forever.
