To say it was like a baked potatoe had exploded down at the paddock creating a massive heatwave was an understatement
Lita felt gross.
Her clothes were sticking to her frame even though she was on wearing shorts and a tank top and her hair was getting annoying as it flowed down her back
She felt like shaving it all off.
It was far too hot especially to get into an f1 car but thy does not get to chose the weather they drive in
It was easy to see that the tired were burning on the asphalt tracks easier and there wasn't much wind to help either
It was a nightmare during Saturdays 2 practises.
Standing in the safety of the shaded garage lita downed a capri sun like her life depended on it
It was times like this that she wished that her fireproofs came in a shortsleeved style.
"You look like your gonna melt" Aaron hummed to his half sister as he typed away on his laptop, he was wearing cargo shorts and a redbull polo shirt allowing him a much cooler stance than lita
"I am melting" the French girl huffed out as she threw the capri sun crumbled up into the bin before taking another one that autumn was already holding out to her knowingly
"All you do is complain about the weather" Aaron tutted as the sound of drilling began to fill the garage
"You complain if it's to cold" he continued "and now your complaining its too warm"
This earned him a glare back.
"It's not like she's the only one that's too warm" autumn spoke up "I saw a pool of sweat gathering on Horners forehead"
A gross shiver ran down all three of their spines
"We've talked about this lots, tmi...TMI" lita gagged as the image of her team principles forehead covered in sweat came to picture in her mind
"Oh big deal don't act like we haven't talked about how big Max's d-" autumn spoke before she was hushed quickly by lita with flushed cheeks as Aaron made his own gagging nose
"God why do I bother talking to either of yous?" He rolled his eyes
"Cause you love us" autumn taunted jokingly causing the tips of Aaron's ears to turn slightly pink causing lita to furrow her eyebrows but just continue to sip he 3rd capri sun
Looking around the familiar sound of a formula one car could be heard roaring as it came into the pit lane, no doubt the 3 time champion himself pulling in after 2nd practise
Pulling himself out of the car max quickly unzipped his race suit revealing his white fireproofs before ditching his race helmet and balaclava.
The Dutchmen felt gross, his body was covered in sweat and his hair was drenched which is why he was thankful when helmet handed him a towel
Looking around his he made his hair look like he had just woken up his blue eyes locked on the sight of three familiar faces all standing in the corner, as far away from the sun as possible
Almost like they were vampires.
Walking up quietly he wrapped his arms around litas waist and tugged her back against him causing her to squirm and scoff
"Gross you smell like sweat" she huffed and pulled away as both autumn and Aaron snickered
"I'm a high performance Athlete baby, it's just part of the job" he cooed slightly in her ear causing her to smack his chest lightly earning a chuckle from him
"You need to go shower" lita screwed her face up causing max to roll his eyes
"Yeah yeah just wanted to see my beautiful girlfriend but that's too much for a guy these days" he hummed sarcastically before snatching the capri sun out of her hand
Lita let out a yell as she watched him finish it with a second of getting it before throwing it in the bin and grabbing her hand
"What?" She furrowed her eyebrows "where are we going?"
"To shower" he hummed in a lazily tone causing he eyes to widen as he pulled her away from the snickering too
God this man drove her crazy.
