It had been a few days since the whole prank incident after the race in Mexico
It was safe to say that Daniel had been giving both lando and lita the silent treatment which they pissed themselves laughing over.
They both knew that Daniel couldn't stay mad at them forever right...?
"You do realise we're gonna have to make it up to him right?" Lando tossed a piece of popcorn into his mouth as he laid across Max's sofa lazily
"I know but it feels good basking in the fact that we actually got him" lita hummed lazily as she flick to the next page in the twilight book that bottas had got her last year.
"Not the point Lonnie" the Dutchman called out as he tried to figure out if the batter he had made for waffles were the right consistency
Letting out a sigh as lando continued to eat away at the bowl of popcorn that they were both meant to be sharing, she turned her head to look over to the kitchen of the penthouse.
"Obviously we will do something to make it up to Danny but can't I boast about it a little longer?" Getting a look back she flopped back on the couch with a huff
"Well we need to come up with something" lando talked through a mouthful
"How about you just apologise" max spoke up causing a chin of 'lames' from both party's in the living room
"We need something bigger" the Brit hummed before stuffing his mouth again as his eyes narrowed with thought while lita pursed her lips

By the time that lando had left after practically eating Max out of his house and home, lita was laying across the sofa now in her fluffy duck pj bottoms and white tank top
"Are you just gonna lie there all night?" Max spoke up amused as he walked into the living room in a pair of grey sweats.
"Maybe" she clicked her tongue "or you could just carry me I'm tired" she huffed out dramatically earning an eye roll back
"What's wrong with you" he plopped down onto the sofa beside her before opening his arms allowing her to sit up and rest into his side.
"Nothing" she hummed as she laid her cheek against his chest
Looking down at the top of the French girls head, max narrowed his eyes slightly before kissing the crown and looking over to the tv.
"What are we watching?" he hummed as he rubbed his hand down her arm slowly
"Avengers civil war" she clicked her tongue earning a groan back.
"We watched that last night" his blue eyes rolled as he held her tighter
"And this is a new day" she looked up at him and offered an innocent grin.
Rolling his eyes he just leant down to kiss her temple before glancing back to the tv as Wanda landed on screen
"I'm kinda hungry" lita spoke up eventually as she shifted to hold onto him tighter.
"What are you in the mood for?" The redbull driver spoke as he watched the tv definitely not interesting in it at all
"Thai?" She immediately screwed her face ip immediately.
"You love Thai" max furrowed his eyebrow
"Last time you went to get Thai my dad turned up remember" a shiver of unpleasantness ran through the Dutch's spine.
"Yeah let's cross Thai off that list then" she giggled
"How about good old Freddie's? I could use one of those bacon burgers" he hummed satisfied by the suggestion
"Freddie's it is" he ran a hand down and slightly under the tank top she was wearing, rubbing her hip
It was gonna be a feast for kings. _________________________________
As lita hummed happily as she took a big bite out of the burger in her hands, she scrolled on her phone that was sat on the crossed legs
god knows what was on tv at this rate as both drivers munched like there was no tomorrow.
"Oo Taylor's going to London in a few weeks" came out muffled as lita swallow the bite
"I know" max spoke up lazily as he picked a pickle out of his burger.
"She hasn't been to London since Joe" she spoke without glancing up
"You've said before" wrong. She ranted Max's ear off after Taylor dropped 'so long London'.
"God I bet it'll be amazing" she sighed slightly as she licked her bottom lip
"It will be" lita scrunched her nose at his lazy response weird.
shrugging she went back to taking another bite out of the burger that she couldn't get enough off however what slipped out past her boyfriends lips caused her to almost choke
"Cause we're going."
