"Let's stop this, Y/n," Gojo said, his voice devoid of emotion as he looked at you. The sight of him standing on your doorstep, soaked from the rain, only added insult to injury.

Was not how you had envisioned this moment. You had hoped for comfort, for reassurance, for a shoulder to lean on in your time of need. But instead, you were met with cold indifference.

Feeling a knot form in your stomach, you struggled to maintain your composure, to hold back the flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm you. With a heavy heart, you realized that this was the end-that the bond you had once shared with Gojo had been irreparably broken.

Anger surged through you like a wildfire, consuming every other emotion in its path. It burned bright and fierce, threatening to engulf you in its fiery embrace. With each passing moment, it intensified, until it was all you could feel, all you could see.

With clenched fists and a furrowed brow, you fought to control the torrent of emotions raging within you. Every fiber of your being screamed for release, for a way to unleash the pent-up fury that threatened to consume you whole.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Your voice trembled with anger, your eye twitching at the sight of Gojo just standing there, silent and unmoving.

"Gojo, don't fucking play with me!" you continued, your frustration boiling over as you unleashed a torrent of pent-up emotions. "What the fuck have I ever done to you? I haven't done anything to deserve this shit you're giving me!"

Your words reverberated through the neighborhood, echoing off the walls of houses and bouncing off the pavement.

"I know you're playing with my feelings, y/n, and it's disgusting," Gojo's voice cut through the tension, his eyes narrowed in accusation.

You let out a big sigh, feeling a mix of frustration and hurt wash over you before you responded. "Who the hell told you this stuff, Gojo? I have done nothing but love y-" you paused, catching yourself before continuing, "you know what? Answer me this. Who is filling your head with this nonsense?"

Gojo remained silent for a moment, his gaze unreadable as he processed your words.

"A-Why does that matter? I can see that with my own two eyes," Gojo replied, his tone defensive as he avoided addressing your question directly.

The sound of your slap echoed in the tense silence that hung between you, a sharp crack that seemed to reverberate through the air. Gojo staggered back, his hand flying to his cheek as he recoiled from the unexpected blow.

"Let's end this then," you declared, your words ringing with a finality that brooked no argument.

When you care deeply you often leap towards wanting to fix others, and be there for them - you never want to give up on another human being because you see the duality that exists in life.

Nothing is ever black and white, even an action that might confuse, or hurt, you. A human being is simply just a human being, just another person who is trying to figure themselves out, too. When you see the world like this, you can rationalize or justify almost anything.

However, that does not mean you have to stay in its presence, or give it access to you. You can see things for what they are, you can reconcile the reasoning behind the action, but it is important to also look at things objectively, almost protectively.

Some chapters end quickly, sometimes in the middle of the page, sometimes before we are even ready. We cannot control what comes to fruition in our lives. We cannot control how long someone chooses to love us; we cannot control how long someone chooses to stay.
