Unlikely Lovers

Chapter 17

Daimian is sitting on in his car. After Perrie broke up with him he left home and has been living in his car ever since, which was 2 months ago.

He has been stealing alcohol from anywhere he could. He sits in his car at night and drinks at the spot he parked his car over looking LA. The place he loves but has given him so much pain.

He rarely turns up for school now. His phone has been dead for the past 4 or 5 weeks. He has his charger cable but doesn't see the point in charging it.

It's early on a Friday morning. It's 7AM, the sun has just begun to rise. Damian is sitting on the hood of his car. he is watching it surrounded peace, but his mind is anything but peaceful. He sighs and gets off the hood.

Damian climbs into the car and starts it up. He drives to the petrol/gas station. He fills up his car and pays for it. He gets in his car then drives to Hollywood Arts. Damian parks the car in the far corner of the parking lot then covers the car in a sheet.

He picks up his bag that has a change of clothes, a towel, hair and body wash in it. He goes to the showers by the gym. He has a shower. He dries off in a stall and puts his old clothes in the bag. He then changes into his clean clothes.

He walks out of the changing room and speed walks to his locker. He opes it and puts his bag with his clothes inside and switches bags, he now has the one with all his school stuff in it.

He closes his locker then sees his sister and her friends looking at him. Damian puts his bag on then starts to walk away. He hears foot steps behind him. He stops and turns seeing them all again.

He blinks then sprints away. He can hear them running after him. He runs until he sees the library. He Jumps and holds onto a beam above the door and pulls his legs up.

They all run in. They look around then run up a small set of stairs leading to another part of the library. He lets go of the beam and lands on his feet. He pulls the door open and almost bumps into someone.

Perrie. She goes to shout but he covers her mouth with his hand. They make eye contact. He lowers his hand.

Damian: not a word

He sprints away. As he's running he hears her call Jade's name. He skids around a corner then continues running. He sees the janitor's closet, Damin goes inside then closes the door. He's still holding the handle and rests his head on the door. He hears a voice.

Jade: where have you been?!

He opens the door but Beck and Andre are standing there. He sighs then lets go of the door. He looks at his sister and doesn't say a word.

Jade: Damian, answer me. where have you been?

Damian: away, can i go now?

Jade: no, we've all been trying to contact you for weeks.

Damian: phone is dead

Jade: for weeks?

Damian: yes, i saw no need to charge it. the person i love thought i cheated with my ex who is the reason i want to be dead and everyone i considered a friend believed it before i even had the chance to defend myself, even you did. so tell me, what was the point in charging my phone.

She is silent.

Damian: my point exactly. you of all people thought i'd cheat on the best thing to ever happen to me, that's what hurt the most

He pushes past Beck and Andre. Everyone else in the group is standing there. He walks past them all. He makes it to the drama department when his arm is pulled. He turns and sees Perrie stood there.

Perrie: i need to talk to you, can you meet me in the black box after school?

Damian: if it means you'll let go of my arm

She lets go of his arm. Before she can say anything he walks into Sikowitz's classroom.
