Chapter 16

It's been a few months since Diamian got his dream car. Things for Damian haven't exactly been the best.

* hollywood arts 2 months ago*

Damian is with his friends, sister and girlfriend in Sikowitz's class. Sikowitz is late as usual lately. Damian and everyone else are just talking when Sikowitz waltses in and onto the mini stage.

Sikowitz: sorry i was late, i'm not really

He sucks on a straw that's stuck in a coconut.

Damain: dare i ask, why were you late?

Sikowitz: good question, i was meeting the newest student who will be joining this class

Andre: a new student mid term?

Sikowitz: my reaction exactly, but please welcome Bella Young

Jade and Damian look at each other with looks of disbelief. Damian shakes his head when she walks in. He closes his eyes then looks at Jade to see if he was seeing things, she shook her head.

Sikowitz: everyone this is Bella Young, Bella this is everyone. take a seat then we will get started.

Damian: Sikowitz can i go to the toilet please?

Sikowitz: of cource

Before anyone can say anything he grabs his bag and leaves the class room. He makes it to his locker when he starts to cry.

He starts to lose breath so he sits down with his back to the lockers. His breath starts to regulate again. He runs his hands through his hair when he hears a voice.

Perrie: babe? are you ok?

She comes over and crouches in front of him. She puts her right hand on his left knee. Perrie looks into Damian's eyes which are held captive by tears and sadness.

Perrie: babe what's wrong?

Damian: that girls

He starts to cry again.

Perrie: what about her?

Damian: she's my ex, s-she is the reason i was diagnosed with depression.

Perrie instead of saying anything she hugs him tight to which he happily returns. She straddles him and rubs the back of his neck with her thumb. She whispers into his ear.

Perrie: you'll be ok baby, i promise. and i don't break promises.

* 2 weeks later *

Damian is sitting at home texting Perrie like normal. Things had been a bit off between them lately, Damian didn't think anything of it.

He is broke out of thought when there is a knock at the front door. Damian hear the door open and then a voice he hoped that he'd never hear again.

James: home at last

Damian paniced slightly as he got a flashback to the day his dad was arrested. He hears footsteps coming towards his room at a fast pace.

Before he could do anything his door swung open revealing his dad. James lunges at Damian and starts to hit him to the point parts of his face are covered in blood.

Jade: DAD GET OFF HIM!

Jade tries pulling him off but their mother pulls her away.

Julia: this is what he deserves Jade

James doesn't stop until Damian is almost passed out. James grabs his shirt and drags him off the bed.

James: YOU LITTLE SHIT, YOU GOT ME ARRESTED! THIS IS WHAT YOU DESERVE!

James punches him one more time knocking him out.

* 5 hours later *

Damian has woken up in the hospital. He looks to his left, he sees Jade and Perrie.

Damiam: Perrie, i n-need your d-dad

Perrie: right now?

He nods his head. Perrie kisses his head then leaves the room to call her dad.

A 20 minutes have gone by and Perrie walks back in with her dad.

David: Damian? what happened?

Damian: my dad happened, he beat me up

David: did anyone see this happen?

Jade: i did, i tried to stop him but our mum plulled me off saying " this is what he deserves Jade "

David: do you want to press charges and have him arrested again?

Damian: yes

* 1 month later *

Damian is sitting by his locker at lunch. He is strumming his guitar waiting for Perrie, she said and i quote " we need to talk ". He sees her walking over then puts his guitar in his locker.

Damian: hey babe

He kisses her head.

Perrie: we need to talk more privetly, lets go to the janitor's closet.

Damian: ok?

They walk to the janitor's closet. Perrie looks a mix of sad and angry. She looks at Damian then back down.

Perrie: there isn't really an easy way to say this but, we need to split up.

Damian: what? w-why?

Perrie: cause i know you are cheating on me with you ex, i don't want to discuss it cause i know it's happened and i don't want to be with a cheater. this is goodbye damian

She opens the door and walks out. Damian's eye begin to water. The one person he was able to love after what Bella had done to him, has just left him.

He sits with his back against the wall then breaks down completly. He decided to skip the rest of the day and stayed in the janitor's closet until the end of the day.

He leaves the building and gets in his car. He drives home and enters the house. Damian goes straight to his room and collapses onto his bed.
