He carefully watched as a young hare lingered. He tried his best not to make any sounds. "I'm sorry, little leveret." He hit the hare with his arrow successfully, *sighing* "why's the food chain so cruel?"
Arcus is eating his stew, staring at the bonfire. Then he looked up; he noticed a faint silhouette, and it seemed to be in the middle of the moon. He squinted his eyes to take a better view; their hair seemed to sway with the wind, and the silhouette turned around to face Arcus. The eyes shone a pale blue. Soon, the moon was covered with clouds. An encounter that will make Arcus awake.
The morning came, and he got ready to travel.
He arranged his bag and his bow and arrows. "I still have to practice my aiming skills.".
*Rustle rustle*, "hmm?" He turned around to face the sound coming out of a bush.
Slowly walking to ensure safety, he got his bow ready. Arcus grabbed a knife and swung it.
It was empty, but he noticed a movement to another bush; perhaps it ran?
Swiftly launched and destroyed another one, then it turned to two, then four. He realized he had cornered the creature.
It was just one bush left to hide. The knife cut the leaves and branches, and his eyes widened. "A man...?"
He quickly got down and took a closer look. "Are you okay?" He got his bandages and quickly wrapped up the bruises and scars. The man squinted his eyes to see Arcus.
"Mister, are you okay? Answer me, please," said by Arcus as he noticed him whimpering.
"M-my pocket." Arcus looked at the man's pocket and felt something, and he took it out.
A moth? He carefully grabbed the moth and showed it to the man. "Save the moth," "but sir," "please just do it." Arcus nodded and healed the moth; at least his magic wasn't useless this time.
"Huh?" The moth shined a light; it slowly lifted its wings, one by one. The antennas glowed a peculiar shade of blue.
"Thank God you saved me!" "No prob-wait, did you just talk!?" Shocked by the sudden move of the moth.
"In a world full of magic, you got shocked by a talking bug?" "Well, "by the way, my name is Risi, and this man is Yuki." Arcus looked back at the man.
"Mr. Yuki, are you okay?" "He's okay; he is just unconscious in the moment," he said, raising his eyebrow. "How do you know that?"
"Because I'm his heart!" "His what!?" "His heart; he transmitted his heart onto a dead moth, and that was me!" "What have I gotten into?" Arcus whined.
"Hmm?" Yuki yawned, "Mister are you awake", he opened his eyes to see Risi and Arcus. "I'm fine" he sat up. "Hello Arcus my name is Yuki" "oh nice to meet you t-, wait you know my name?" "Of course, you're the one who killed me" "wait, WHAT!?"
