Arcus is facing a woman wearing armor with a metallic gold undertone. Taking hold of Arcus' wrist, she hurried out of the room with him. The woman gave Arcus her helmet so he could defend Risi and himself. Arcus was forced to fall to the ground as she stopped in her tracks, and she created a gateway. The guards behind them are hurrying, but they managed to get through the portal before they could be purified.
The three appeared to have been taken to an arbitrary glowing woodland. Arcus sat down and began to treat his wounds by wiping the dirt away.
The woman who had saved him inquired, "Mr. Levangelit, are you okay?" With a swift nod, Arcus thanked her.
Arcus learned from the woman that Yuki was the one who had texted her to ask her to help him and to use her name, "Zuleika." "You're a Paladin, then, and Yuki sent you here?" Zuleika replied.
Arcus said, "And you are from the light republic?" and she nodded once more, displaying her perceptive nature. "I haven't met anyone from there" he said, "yeah we mostly just stay in the republic, but it doesn't mean we can't go and travel."
Arcus continued to interrogate Zuleika while tending to some of her open wounds. Still shaking, he asked, "So do you know where Yuki is?" He was still upset at Yuki's sudden disappearance. "That's also what i'm afraid of, I haven't seen a single trace of his."
When Zuleika wanted to see Risi, she was given her. She let the extract spill out of a vial she held in front of Risi's face.
She tipped the potion and the ointment drops, saying, "Yuki has a unique heart, far from others so naturally-Risi would need more specific medication rather than normal healing spells." When Risi eventually opened her eyes and saw the two smiling, she had regained her color.
Arcus grabbed her petite form and said, "Gosh, Risi, you scared me." Risi cuddled back. Zuleika smiled at the view of the two rejoicing.
Following the touching scene, the three set off to hide from discovery, as the king is notorious for pursuing his goals and Arcus, along with Zuleika, is the primary target after she broke into the palace and kidnapped an innocent person (Arcus).
They employed a face-changing magic in addition to slightly altering their voice, style, and fragrance. The palladin projected a map, and they made plans for their next stop to stay to.
Arcus was also informed by Zuleika that Yuki had last been seen in the city of Uvioled, also known as the kingdom of wisdom, which was the destination they had chosen (also because tracing anyone in this sky-kingdom is difficult).

A brown-looking bird mechanic-a typical sight in Uvioled-carried the party to the sky-kingdom. It was nighttime, and because the buildings towered like mountains, the lights were incredibly bright.
"Wow, I feel like a dumbass being here," Arcus said, continuing to take in the steampunk scenery of the city. Zuleika retorted, "Don't belittle yourself; it's just Uviolian nature."
The trio checked into a modest motel, just big enough to accommodate their five-day stay. Even though the other furnishings wasn't really attractive to look at, the floor remained elegant, and that didn't worry them. The fourth floor room, which was the last room on that level, was assigned to them.
The three of them let out a collective sigh as they entered the door to their room and fell onto their plush bed. The two should go out again and eat at a café or something, Risi said. After that, they left their accommodation and looked for a restaurant to eat at. After locating one, they placed their own order.
Arcus was ogling a new gadget and said, "Woah what's this?" "That's called a tablet; they're like a mechanism with a flat screen and they show videos which are moving pictures, it's also my first time to see one in person." Zuleika stated. Both Arcus and Risi are fascinated by and in awe of every gadget inside of Uvioled.
After their food was served, they ate like starving children because they were so stressed out from their earlier activities. "This kingdom appears to be extremely joyous as well," Arcus remarked, continuing to eat. "This kingdom, Uvioled, is closely associated with Stwomeiire-the real, joyous kingdom!" Risi asked, "Isn't that the kingdom where the emperor is missing?" Zuleika nodded in response. "You're right, and still to this day we have nothing that can lead to his disappearance since three months."
'The emperor continues to haunt me,' Arcus thought to himself. Every time this subject is raised, Arcus clears his throat and modifies his manner to conceal his uneasiness.
