Chapter 10:Skythes

They both turned to watch the commotion. "The 'Skythes'" said Yuki. "What are those?" Yuki asked Arcus. "Go grab your bow! I'll explain later."

Casting his bow, he and Arcus leaped from the second story, with Arcus's flower catching them both. "My powers is finally useful" .

Yuki attacked the enigmatic "Skythes" and engaged in combat with them.

The Skythes moved back a few steps from Yuki after realizing who he was.

"The 'Jester's' right hand, huh?" exclaimed one of them.

Given that his mask was unlike any other, Arcus believed that this person was the master of the skies.

Arcuse attempted to ward off the people with a flower-covered wall. But he just touched on a portion. Then he yelled at the aristocrats, "I guess that didn't work-Everyone go run and hide!"
Behind Yuki and the group of skythes was him. Yuki asked menacingly, "What are you doing here terrorizing this ship?" They retreated, "gathering resources". "Hm, so are you guys still trying to fufill the prophecy? Fools!" Yuki screamed.

"You have no saying about our master's order" . Yuki said, "Oh that bastard? Don't worry in a few minutes you Skythes will be my prisoner" as he hurried over to them holding a bat.

"I've never seen Yuki so angry before," Arcus said, his jaw dropping.

Yuki quickly slew the minions, and Arcus restrained them with vines, taking away their weapons and putting them to sleep.

That guy who persisted in talking to Yuki is quite a tough one and kept with his speed and blows.

Since all he can hear is the sound of blades colliding and light from their magic, Arcus can't possibly help them. He made a hand motion to try to heal Yuki and narrowed his eyes to try to find him.

He swore, unintentionally healing the opponent rather than Yuki. "Oh f*xk!"

"Gosh, I hope he's not mad at me," he exclaimed as he dashed from the gambling area into the ship's main cabin. "Arcus, don't try to heal me, just keep the people safe!"

The skythe and Yuki continued to strike and abuse one another. As he struck the skythe with the end of his scythe, Yuki cried out, "I won't let you hypocrites do that again!" "Acting so tough when the reason you're alive is because of the emperor" he said as he healed himself using a potion.

Punching him and attempting to hook him with his scythe, Yuki exclaimed, "While you and your king is causing havoc against other lands!" The Skythe pulled out a cannon and fired a shot at Yuki, saying, "You people started it first!" However, Yuki stopped it before it could reach him. As Yuki blocked Skythe's assaults, she exclaimed, "You guys are just manipulated and blinded!"

They cried to each other as their conflict grew more fierce and their magic began to contract, "Say that to the gods and wait for their response!"

When Arcus arrived at the main hall, the commoners and aristocracy were bound by ropes. He heard someone walking, so he pulled out his bow and arrows and ducked behind a wall. Beside him, Risi flew to his side.

Risi remarked quietly as she addressed him, telling him that "the Skythes are capturing those people and making them their prisoner!" Arcus said, "There are more huh?".

Arcus was startled when he finally saw one of the Skythes' heads with the captain bound to their side.

Then, he asked, "Who's driving the ship?" He pointed his arrows at the Skythe, charging his power upon them. The projectile struck the opponent next to the ship's captain as it soared. As soon as they saw him, Arcus shot another arrow and fled. To get them to sneeze and let down their guard, he called forth flowers that contained pollen. "Go Arcus go!" Risi was yelling at him as he fired another.

He was about to engage the adversary when he realized it, but he quickly ducked and struck them with his elbow. As the skythes doubled in number, he remarked, "Gosh, they called for back-up."

Yuki stood before the skythe. He belittled him and remarked, "I guess you're still weak." The Skythe had run out of healing potions and was covered in injuries, trying to stand. He screamed, "You-bastard!" as Yuki brought his scythe down on the Skythe's throat. Yuki said, "This is your end," as he severed the man in front of him. He destroyed the Skythes with fire and burned them 'till they were ashes laying on the floor. "Mere ants" .

Despite being worn out after fighting the bunch of adversaries, Arcus was uninjured because to his healing capabilities.

Arcus shot them down as Risi flew up to one of them and stabbed them in the eyes. He observed that one of them vanished as he shot the other. It dawned on him that those were delusions. "Wait so if I find the host I can defeat them all" .

Even after being bound and witnessing the battle between Skythes and Arcus, the victims are still trembling in terror.

Arcus aimed an arrow into the sky with his bow. The rain of arrows changed, and he said, "wooh! I finally did that!" He used a spell to strengthen the impact while those were descending, killing the majority of the Skythes. He was breathing heavily and thought to himself, "There's still more".

He discharges a barrage of arrows simultaneously, radiating a magical energy that disintegrates the Skythes. With his jaw dropped, his eyes widened.

"Where's the host?"

He expressed confusion about the whereabouts of the puppeteer in charge of creating these fantastical Skythes.

"Are they hiding?" he asked, glancing around. "I don't see them either, but I feel like they're near us," Risi said. He scowled at the individuals in ties and exclaimed, "If they aren't one of the Skythes that I eliminated and they are within the area that we're standing on, then they are disguised!" "It's has to be one of them" , "but how do we find out, if we say that to the victims they'll go berserk and we will have a hard time looking around for the host!" Risi said to Arcus.

"What's the situation right now?" Yuki asked, running through the door and breaking it open. "The main enemy is hiding somewhere disguised as a normal person, at least that's what we think." Yuki walked by Arcus' side.

"Stay here," Yuki told them as he approached the individuals who had been apprehended. Arcus witnessed Yuki saying something, but he is unable to read lips. Perhaps a spell?

When Yuki exposed the host and the dispersed group, Arcus used his abilities to protect them.

Arcus's arrow was avoided by the host as he flew off. Yuki yelled at Arcus, "F*xk," "don't worry, their useles now."

After three hours, the accident was resolved, the captain praised the three, and they resumed their journey.

Arcus sighed out of fatigueness, "ugh we haven't even got to another kingdom and we've already got a problem", "that's just life works" Yuki replied to Arcus as they got back to their room.
