[Cut to the healing homeroom where Hunter is with the Flyer derby team (Willow, Gus, Viney, and Skara.]
Hunter: Uhm... guys... Thank you, for helping me, and I'm sorry for what happened with Darius and the whole recruiting thing...
[The group looks at Hunter and they smile at each other.]
Viney: [She nudges Hunter's arm] Hey, it's no big deal. Sure it was surprising but you did the right thing, and that's what matters.
Hunter: Oh. Right. The right thing...
Gus: It's all in the past now, so no hard feelings. [He sits with Hunter.] You saved us and now, we're here to save you. [He smiles at Hunter and Hunter smiles back.]
Willow: You'll be safe here Hunter, you can trust us, we will not mess with you. [She and Gus nod at each other.]
Hunter: Thanks, guys...
Willow: Now... Do you think you'll be a permanent member of the Emerald Entrails?
Hunter: [He smiles and chuckles.] I am at your service, captain. [He salutes.]
[The group laugh together.]
[Cut to Hunter walking around the school, he manages to find Amity and calls out to her.]
Hunter: Hey uh... Blight.
Amity: Amity.
Hunter: Right, uh... Listen. I know this should've been sooner but, I'm sorry, about what happened at Eclipse Lake. Threatening you and Luz wasn't okay and I understand if you are mad or hate me...
Amity: I don't hate you, Hunter.
Hunter: ... Huh?
Amity: I don't hate you.
Hunter: But- But I... I literally threatened your girlfriend to get something I wanted from you...
Amity: Hunter... You had your reasons for doing what you did. I get it. Wanting approval from someone who will never give it to you, desperately proving that you are useful, that's something I used to experience. You didn't think you had a choice, and judging you for those actions would seem wrong of me. You're also kinda different now than you were. [Hunter grabs his chest, contemplating.] It might've been crappy at the time but, I'm not mad and I don't hate you. [Hunter seems to be slightly tearing up.] I don't think any of us do.
Hunter: [Weakly.] Oh. [He sniffs as he wipes some leftover tears away.]
Amity: It's okay dude. [She puts her hand on his shoulder, comforting him.]
[Hunter feels safe at Hexside, making new friends and finding momentary peace.]
