He's alive. I know it. I know he's strong. I know he's brave. I know everyone doubts him, but I see the truth. The truth is he's stronger than everyone else. He was always my little brother even though he came to us when he was four. Jiang Cheng and he have been inseparable. These past few years have been... hard.
"Yanli, you should go to bed." Jiang Cheng says.
"Cheng, do you believe he's still alive?" I ask.
"Yes. Most definitely." He nods.
"Then we need to find him." I say standing up.
"Wait, what?" Jiang Cheng asks.
I'm tired of sitting here, waiting for him to return. I need to find him to make sure he's okay. He's been gone for so long and no one is doing anything about it. I grab a bag and start filling it. I'm no fighter but I have a strong heart. I'm not going to lose him. Jiang Cheng grabs my arm.
"Yanli, you don't even know where he is." Jiang Cheng says.
"I have to try." I push off from him.
"Then I'm coming with you." Jiang Cheng says.
I smile at him.
"I swore to protect you and the three of us will never be parted." He says.
"Yes, the three of us together." I smile back.
