"Please! Argh!" A scream wakes me up.
I look around. Where are we? There were rocks everywhere and water. Is this a cave? I turn. Jiang Cheng and Second Master Lan were looking at Xian. He was being beaten and.... oh my lord. There was so much blood everywhere. Tools were broken and his face was beaten. His face looks stained with red. His arms looked broken and he had burns. I put my hand over my mouth. Jiang Cheng grabs me.
"Please!" Xian cries as a guard puts his mouth over Xian's.
I turn. I can't watch this. Jiang Cheng grabs me. '
"That's enough for today boys. It's a wonder he's still alive." One guard says.
"Let's go." Another one says.
Xian barely gets up. He lays his back on a rock. He puts his hand on where his arm was cut off. Tears started slipping down his face. He looks skinny and broken. What they did to him was monstrous.
"Xian, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." I mutter.
"Is this what your life has gotten you?" A voice says.
"I....don't...want...to...die." Xian mutters.
"You don't have to." The voice says.
I look around. Where was that voice coming from.
"...how?" Xian asks.
"Do you want revenge?" The voice asks.
"Yes..." Xian mutters.
"You want to make them suffer?" The voice asks.
"Yes..." Xian mutters.
"I can help you." I see a figure exiting the water.
It's black. It had glowing yellow eyes. Smoke was emanating off of it. It looks evil. It doesn't look human. It walks to Xian.
"I have a proposition for you. I lend you some of my power and you can destroy everyone in Lotus Pier. Make them suffer as I have seen you these past three years." The demon says.
"What...price...?" Xian asks.
"Once you've had your fill, I must have my fill." He says.
"My...soul..." Xian mutters.
"Yes. This is your one purpose. What would you do afterward?" He asks.
"I...don't...know..." Xian says.
The demon puts forward his hand.
"So do we have a deal?" The demon asks.
Xian barely could stand. I watch as he reaches out his hands. Tears start slipping down my face. He grabs the demon hands.
"...Deal..." Xian answers.
