"Xian!!" I scream.
I run around the forest. The rain starts to pour. I grip my dress. I killed him. If I hadn't... no. I can't think of that write now. I have to find him and bring him back. He's my little brother. I can only look forward. Jiang Cheng jumps down.
"Did you find anything?" I ask frantically.
"No." He shakes his head.
I run through the forest.
"Yanli, slow down!" Jiang Cheng screams.
I hear munching. I hear something like a dog eating. I look around and there's blood. Pools of red. I grip my mouth. I fear I might puke. I turn. Xian! Wait... I let out a loud scream. Jiang Cheng runs to me.
"Yanli! What- ah!!" Jiang Cheng yells.
I see Xian's body. I see his chest ripped open. His face was broken, and blood pooled out. Father comes and almost faints. Second Master Lan's eyes widen. His intestines were being ripped out by the demon who was feasting on him like a wolf.
"What have you done?!" Second Master Lan yells.
The demon looked up.
"The deal is over. I'm fulfilling the bargain." The demon swallows more of his flesh.
"Xian!" I fall to my knees crying.
The demon rips off more flesh with his teeth. He swallows it.
"He's actually a lot tastier than I thought." He says.
I let out a scream. Tears slip through my face.
"Why did you kill him?" Jiang Cheng growls.
"I didn't. He killed himself when he took the deal. Also I'm not the one who stabbed him." The demon looks at Second Master Lan.
Tears were slipping down everyone's faces.
"You monster!" I scream.
"You should've done better." The Demon says.
Oh Xian. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry.
