"This place is awful." Yanli breathes.
We finally found the prison and it looks like a nightmare. It lay in ruins. Something destroyed it. Blood was spilled on the walls and the floor. There's this foul stench of decay and iron melting. I walk over the burnt corpses. What happened here?
I see chains on the floor-stained red. Is this where he was? What the Hell did they do to him? I see tools on the ground. Weapons. Torture tools. I see burnt irons on the floor. I grip my sword.
"This place is foul." Jiang Wangyin says.
"Oh... this place is more than foul." An old man comes up.
"Did you see anyone in the prison?" I ask.
"Oh, someone was in there. I heard his screams. This place uses inhuman ways to torture people." He says.
"Who was in here?" Yanli asks.
"I didn't catch his name. They say he was in exile from the Lotus Pier. Some man with a red ribbon tying his hair up." He says.
"Xian." Yanli mutters.
"Then a couple of days ago, I saw the prison shatter. Some creature walked out of the prison." He says.
"Did you see where they went?" I ask.
"Up the cold mountains. To the bamboo forest." The man says.
