Chan's P.O.V
"And you're sure this will work?"
"I can't be 100% sure, nothing's ever that straightforward Lix, but if it works then we'll most definitely have the upper hand. We can't go against the last two without all their undercover members out of the picture or fully against them" I stated, trying to lighten the mood on the stressful tension in the room.
"I can't believe we've just let him go...what if he says anything?"
"He won't. If he does I have a back up plan, but I want you guys out of here by morning. Head back to the old place, me, Liss and Heejin will meet you there. It's best no one knows our location from now on. Not Marcus, not Cassie and certainly not Jackson"
"Alright boss, we'll sort it. How did Liss take it? I could see she wasn't overly happy yesterday" Felix asked as I sighed and shook my head.
Not happy was an understatement. Even though she had a right to be annoyed with my decisions, it would benefit us so much. Our group was the rebellion...we weren't the mafia, we were the complete opposite. So having extra assets against them would help to take us down.
Of course I knew the risks involved, hence moving the guys out of here in case Marcus spoke and revealed our location. I should probably give the heads up to Jackson, but he's the last of my worries. I wouldn't exactly cry about it if the two of them got found.
"We talked it out, it's the only thing we can do. Right now our group just needs to trust. Trust that we make the right decisions...and trust that we can end this together" I stated as Felix smiled, giving a small nod before patting my shoulder.
"Boss, we have an update" our brief conversation became interrupted by Yunho, Hyunjin and Jeongin stood at the door as I waved them to come in, joining myself and Felix at the table.
"What is it?"
"Marcus text us from the burner phone we gave him. He made up an excuse, told Tony Sanleone he was ambushed at the docks, by a group wearing masks. He's been given a new order, to round up more guys to fight back...they're forming some kind of army Chan" Hyunjin confessed as I pondered on the outcome.
Of course this wasn't exactly good news for us, but it was a step forward in having someone on our side, behind the scenes.
"An army? So they think it's us right?"
"There wasn't any context to it, he couldn't say it wasn't us that ambushed him but he also didn't say it was" Seungmin answered Felix, his back resting against the wall.
"The sooner you guys get out of here the better. Look I'm gonna head back to Alicia and Heejin, pack everything up...no one left behind alright? We need to all be left together for this" I stated as the others nodded, realising how quickly this was escalating.
