~ Chapter Nine ~

"We should probably start potty training him.. he's a year and a half old..." she says while cuddling into Lando while Leo plays with his toys at the end of the bed. "Yeah... we probably should" he says. "I think I'm just scared about the fact that he's growing up... it feels like just yesterday I gave birth to him when it's actually been like a year and a half" she says while feeling quite emotional. "Time flies, doesn't it? And yes, growing up can be scary. But remember, every step forward, no matter how small, is significant. And we'll be here to guide him through it all" he says. "I just don't want him to grow up. I want him to be my baby forever" she says while wiping her tears. "I know, baby... but we can always have more babies" he says.

They went back to London later that day and had 2 weeks to rest. Lando insisted that he was feeling a bit better but Madi didn't want to push him. Lando knows he wants to do things today. Things with Madi. "My mum and dad said they can look after Leo today" he says. "Why today?" she says with slight confusion. "because I wanna have some fun today" he says with his eyebrows raised. She smirks and looks up and down at him. "We haven't done something like that in ages" she says. "I know. That's why I think we deserve some alone time. Come on, baby. Let's go take Leo to my parents house" he says as he pulls her off the couch and picks up Leo. He drives to his parents house and drops Leo off. When they get back to their apartment, Lando immediately slams Madi against the door and makes out with her before pulling her to the bedroom.

Madi keeps throwing up. They're at the Australian Grand Prix and she's been constantly throwing up. Madi got Cisca, his mum, to buy her a pregnancy test that she can do. She's sitting on the pit wall and Lando is on the track waiting for everyone to leave. "Radio Check, Lan?" she says. "Sexy girl" he says which makes her laugh. "Okay, baby, I'm just gonna go to the toilet" she says before getting off the pit wall and running to the toilet. She takes the test. Pregnant. She goes back to the pit wall just in time for the race to start. Only a few tyre changes and he won the race. His first win of the season!!! "Yes!!!! Baby, you did it!!! P1!!!!" She yells over the radio. "Let's fucking go!!!!" he yells back. "You did it!!!! For you, me and our babies!!!" she says and he sounds extremely confused. "our babies?" he says. "yeah... our babies. take a guess at what that means, Lan" she says. "Wait... you're pregnant?!" He exclaims in disbelief, his heart filling with joy and wonder. she smiles and giggles over the radio "yeah, that's why I went to the toilet at the start of the race... I took a pregnancy test. That's why I've been throwing up. your mum bought me one after I told her that I've been throwing up. Little Leo is gonna have a baby sister or brother" she says. She can hear Lando slightly crying of joy over the radio as he realises that he's gonna be a dad again. He can't believe it.
