~ Chapter Twelve ~

Madi has just had the biggest fight with her parents. She had just gotten back from the Taylor Swift concert and she was told to go do all these things while they were taking Mason to football training and she completely snapped and smashed a ton of glasses. She couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't deal with being the forgotten child anymore so her parents kicked her out and now she's stood in the pouring rain with her suitcase outside Lando's house. "Baby?? You okay? What are you doing out in the rain like this?" Lando asks while looking at Madi who has tears pouring down her face. "They... they kicked me out, Lan..." she says before completely breaking down in his arms. He pulls her inside with her suitcase and sits on the floor with her cradled in his arms. "I'm so sorry, baby. You don't deserve this" he says as he kisses her head. He looks at her suitcase and knows what he has to do. His parents have said numerous times before that Madi is always welcome and he knows they would be fine with her living with them. "You can stay here. Is that all your stuff?" He says while looking at her suitcase. She nods and wipes her tears. "You're gonna live with me now. You're not going back to them. You're gonna stay here with me until we both move out and get our own place. You're safe here, Mads. Safe with me" he says as he continues to cradle her. He knows this is a big thing but he has to do this for Madi.
