~ Chapter Twenty-Three ~

"She's pretty fucking comfortable in there" she says as she walks around trying to do everything in her power to trigger labour. Madi is a week overdue now and it's pissing her off big time. Madi makes her way to the bathroom and the second she gets in there Lando hears something liquid like hit the floor. "Um... Lan..." Madi says while still being in the bathroom. "Sweetheart, are you okay? Is there something you want to tell me?" He says while opening the bathroom door and seeing her fluids on the floor. "Yeah... that was definitely my waters..." she says. "Okay... okay... don't panic!!!!" He says while running around like crazy. "Lando, pull your shit together. We've done this once before. Just get the hospital bag in the car and call one of your friends to babysit Leo for the day. breathe, baby. breathe" she says while also trying to hold her shit together.

A couple hours later Madi is at the hospital and screaming. "Where's the big needle??!!!! I was promised a big needle!!!!!!" she says while squeezing Lando's hand. "I know, baby. I know. I'm getting it sorted for you. Just keep breathing" he says while looking at the nurses to sort out the epidural quickly. "Fuck!!!! This hurts so bad and I'm not even pushing yet!!! This is way worse than what I went through with Leo!!!!" She screams through her tears. "It's nearly over, sweetheart. Just a bit longer" he says. It finally comes time and Madi squeezes Lando's hand extremely tightly which actually starts hurting him. "Oh god, baby! Please, honey! Stop squeezing so hard! Breathe deeply and focus on pushing. You can do this" He begs her through gritted teeth, barely able to keep up as the pressure on his hand becomes unbearable. she takes a deep breath and looks at him with a deathly stare "BITCH I'M ABOUT TO PUSH A HUMAN OUT OF A TINY FUCKING HOLE DOWN THERE AND YOU'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT ME SQUEEZING YOU'RE HAND TOO HARD. YOU GOT US IN THIS SITUATION IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOUR DICK, YOUR FAULT SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMPLAINING NOW AND I'M NEVER HAVING SEX WITH YOU EVER AGAIN" she screams and pushes again. "Alright, alright! I'm sorry, love. You're absolutely right. Just remember, we're in this together. You're doing an incredible job. Just a few more pushes, and we'll meet our little girl" he says. He moves down the bed and looks at the end and sees their baby's head halfway out and he passes out on the floor. "FUCKING WIMP!!!!!" She screams as she grips onto the bed and pushes again. He comes back after a couple minutes and goes back to her side. Madi keeps pushing but gets insane pain shooting up her body. "Did I rip??? Please tell me I didn't rip!!!!" She says through her tears. "It's okay, baby. They'll stitch you back up if you did. Just focus on getting our baby girl out into this world" he says. Madi pushes once more and feels instant relief as their baby is finally born.

"You did it, baby. You did it" he says as he kisses her head with tears in his eyes. "I actually did it..." she says as they pass her their baby. "She's finally here..." she says with tears in her eyes. "She really is. She looks so much like you" he says over the cries of their little baby. "We should probably think about names now..." she says. "Yeah... any ideas?" He says. "I was thinking maybe Layla" she says. "She looks like a Layla. Okay then. Layla it is!" He says as he kisses the side of her head again.

A couple hours later Lando's mate drops Leo off at the hospital and a nurse comes in with him. "Hey, baby boy" she says as she passes Layla to Lando. Leo clambers onto the bed and cuddles into Madi before looking at the baby in Lando's arms. "That's your baby sister. She's called Layla" she says to Leo. Leo points at Layla and giggles. "baby Layla" he says which Lando & Madi find adorable. "You can hold her if you want, Leo" she says. Leo nods so Madi sits him up properly and Lando puts Layla in Leo's arms while making sure that Leo is holding her correctly. Madi gives Lando extra support under his arms to absolutely make sure that he doesn't drop her or anything. "This is so cute, isn't it...?" She says while looking at Lando. "It really is... our little family" he says. Everything they ever wanted here in front of them. Lando, Madi, Leo & Layla. The little Norris family they always wanted.

A couple years later when Leo is 4 & Layla is 2, Lando & Madi finally get married. Madi in this perfect winter wonderland dress. Lando in the best made suit ever. Leo in a tiny little suit & Layla in the cutest flower girl dress. Madi makes her way to Lando and they say their vows and it's time for them to say 'I do'

"I do, Madi. Forever and always" he says as he slides the ring onto her finger, his eyes never leaving hers. "I do, Lan. Our forbidden love, forever and always against the world, right?" she says as she slips the ring onto his finger. "Exactly, my love. Against all odds, we found each other. And now, nothing can tear us apart" He kisses her softly, their love shining bright like the stars above them. She smiles and blushes as she feels his lips on hers. Finally, they had waited for this moment since they were teenagers and now they are finally married. "I'm finally a Norris!!!" she says which makes him laugh with pride knowing that she will now have his last name. Lando chuckled, pulling her closer. "Yes, you are. And always will be, my love" He nuzzled against her neck, their hearts beating in perfect harmony. "there's our little troublemakers" she says as she feels Leo & Layla run to them. Lando picks up Leo & Madi picks up Layla. "Let's make this a night they'll never forget" he says. "indeed. Let's make this the best night ever!!!! But no more kids. I can't deal with anyone kids" she says which causes him to laugh. "Okay, baby. No more kids. I promise" he says with a small laugh. "Let's make some memories which will last a lifetime" he says. "Our whole relationship has been filled with memories that will last a lifetime and now we get to make even more as a married couple. I love you so much, Lan" she says. "And I love you, Madi. More than any star in the sky. Together, we'll continue creating stories of love and adventure" he says as he softly kisses her before kissing Leo's cheek and then Layla's cheek. "Shall we go have our first dance?" He says. "We shall" she says. They both go to the dance floor and have their first dance. Love completely filling the air. "I love you, Madi. So much. Thank you for being my partner in life, my love, my everything" he says. "I love you too, Lan. You're forever my one and only. You saved me and gave me a better life. I will forever love you for that" she says. "And I'll forever cherish you, Madi" he says.

"I'll forever cherish you too. Soulmates, right?" She says

"Soulmates, indeed. Our Forbidden Love" he says.
