You were carefull the rest of the day avoiding the girls as you didnt konw how many stunts like that you could pull before gatting noticed. You finished your classes for the day and went to the back of the school to wait for Nat to come and pick you up. As you were standing there the girls aproached you.
Girl: Well, look who it is, you decided to show up.
Y/n’s mind: crap I totally forgot about them, I uh- ( your thoughts got interrupted by a girl pushing you) They started pushing you around and you couldn't do anything about it so you just stood there letting them do what they wanted, things escalated when one pushed you harder than before you lost your footing and flew down a small flight of stairs connecting the school to the parking lot. The fall pushed the air out of your lungs, they proceeded to kick you around as you held onto your ribs in pain, you were concentrating so hard on not losing control that you barely noticed them leaving one by one, you got confused and looked up just to see Nat yelling at them wile pushing them off you, they all scattered before you could release what was happening. Nat quickly rushed over to you helping you stand up.
Nat: Y/n, what was that, are you okay.
You coughed wile trying to inhale again looking at her with tears in your eyes, you were so glad to see her at this moment you didn’t even care about the immense pain you felt in your side.
Y/n: It was just girls being girls don’t worry about it (you said walking towards the car, which you preceded to sit in with an open door) Nat came and stood in front of you as you let go of your side struggling to breathe)
Nat: That was not nothing they pushed you down the stairs for god’s sake, why didn’t you fight back or at liest avoid them?
Y/n: ( you looked at the ground embarrassed) I promised you I wouldn’t get into any more trouble, besides I kind of felt like I deserved it.
Nat: No one deserves that ( she hugged you ever so slightly trying to avoid your side) Why did they do that?
Y/n: Because of what happened with Flash ( you saw her confused look) The boy that tried to kiss me and I- well you know. So they started doing that and well-
Nat: Wait this wasn’t the fist time? (she looked at you not knowing what to say) This is what that bruise was from isn’t it? You nodded.
Y/n: I’m sorry I promised-
Nat: Hey this isn’t your fault, okay I know that’s hard for you except but not everything is your fault, this is on them, they had no right to do that. Let me see. ( she gestured to your side and you remove you arm), okay it looks like you might have cracked a few ribs-
Y/n: Its fine ( you said pulling your shirt down) besides it will heal on its own.
Nat: Okay ( she kissed you on the forehead), you want to talk about it? Y/n: Talk about what?
Nat: The fact you let them do this to you, why ( she cupped you face with one hand making you look at her)
Y/n: They said it was payback for Flash and well i kinda felt like i desirved it, not only for him but all the stuff i have done for every single life i have taken, im 14 i have killed over a thausand people (you say the last part thew gritted teeth disgusted at yourself), how can I ever be normal, how. How am i suposed to be a kid, i dont even konw how to have fun, all I know is how spy, trick, infoltrate, fight I know how to wistand torture and not even move a mussle i know how to shut off my emotions to the point of just feeling numb so i can pass a lie detector test, i know how to kill somone without even touching them and somehow im suposed to-
Nat: I know the exact same things, and i have done worse, we have red in our ledgers but we can work on wiping it out, do you hear me?
Y/n: Your nothing like me you have a family, friends, a place to live-
Nat: You have me , and im your family, you have a home now and people who will give up their life to save you in a hartbeat, its hard to get used to but you are wanted, and loved and needed, i love you your my kid and nothing is ever going to change that.
Y/n: I love you too mom, ( your hart skipped a beat as you said that) I- um im sorry I- I didnt.
Nat: You have nothing to be sorry for and nothing could make me happier, you know that?
You jumped in her arms causing you both to fall to the grownd.
Y/n: I love you mOm. ( you lauged at that word, every time you said it it made oyu fell a surtain way, a way you hadnt felt in a long time well ever sience you can remember actually, it mad you feel wanted and loved and like you finaly had a person in your corner)
Nat: (laughing) Well now that we have this sorted out I think this calls for a girls day out what do you think?
Y/n: Can the others come too?
Nat: Ofcorse it wouldn't be one without all of us, lets go and get them shall we?
Y/n: ( you jum up in exitment) Yes! ( and pull up Nat off the grownd) Can i driveeee?
Nat: Your 14....
Y/n: You do know i know how to drive a car, ride a motorbike and fly a plain right?
Nat: Your still 14, you have a couple more years untill i let you drive in public, but i will let you take my bike out for a spinn in the compaund once deal?
