☆Herobrine groaned for the sixth time.
I swear to god, of all people, this is the idiot who gets my powers?
Sky had started a small fire in the meadow again since they were practicing.
"Sorry, Briney, fire is just weird to control," said Sky sheepishly.
Herobrine observed him for a few minutes, before he asked, "How does it feel? With fire?"
Sky shrugged and looked down at the burnt grass. He found himself smiling and replied, "Relaxing, I guess. It may be weird and hard to control, but it feels great. Having that heat in my palm, watching it glow. Is that normal?"
The Swede smiled and said, "Of course. In fact, I think we found your elemental strength."
Sky blinked, "My elemental strength?"
Herobrine relaxed and raised his head. The wind picked up around them and the breeze was gentle and soothing on Sky's face. His tense muscles relaxed. Herobrine explained, "Everyone has an elemental strength. In other words, everyone is strong in one element. Mine, as you have guessed, is air. Yours, should be fire. You may be good in other elements, but fire is your strongest. It also feels right."
Sky stared in awe at the burnt grass, and the wind died down a little. The commander smirked and said, "Briney, does that mean I'm smoking hot?"
Herobrine punched him lightly in the shoulder and spat, "Nickname aside, I hate you."
"Says the sensitive one."
Herobrine was losing faith in his sense of humor. He stared at him and asked in a not-so-gentle voice, "Whatever. Do it with me this time."
Sky shrugged.
"Get into your position. We'll try water now," instructed Herobrine.
The commander prepared himself in front of the lake, his palm facing the clear water. Herobrine also got into position and gently said, "Now, concentrate and lift."
Sky stood silent for a moment before he flicked his wrist, a small amount of water ascending and following his movement. He started to sweat, he was supposed to keep the water steady for ten minutes. Water was unpredictable, and it did not feel right. It was the complete opposite of fire. Herobrine soothed, "Relax."
Sky groaned as he lost concentration and flicked his wrist in Herobrine's direction out of irritation. Bad move. He was met with a splash and yelp. Sky swerved around and winced at the sight of a soaking wet Swede.
"You tall fuck."
Sky raised his hands in defense and said, "I was getting annoyed. Sorry-"
"Who on earth gets annoyed at water?!"
Sky gulped and said, "I don't know! Do you want to go back to the base to dry off or...?"
Herobrine shook his head and made some water ascend. Sky was confused. Herobrine proceeded to make a wave much bigger than before crash into Sky, making him equally soaked.
"We're even."
Sky sighed and removed his heavy and drenched cape. Sky laughed and said, "That cape was nice, you know."
