☆The Shifter smiled, "Good. Thanks for cooperating, little hero."
Herobrine hissed at the nickname and The Shifter laughed and shape shifted to an owl, flying past him quickly. Sky- even though he was hurt -tried to hold in the laughter from the nickname. He then realized his situation and raised his gaze. He staggered to Herobrine, whose gaze was lost in space.
"Hey... You're going to battle with that guy? Alone?"
Herobrine did not remove his gaze but he nodded. Sky smiled, "My army-"
"I know your army is stronger than my-the Royal Military but you should not risk lives of the unwilling to help someone like me."
Sky shut his mouth on the harsh tone, though slightly offended. Herobrine said again, "Besides, I know who I'm going against. I've accepted whatever the result would be. But if you help me..."
He took a deep breath, "You can die, Sky."
Sky narrowed his eyes, frowning. He straightened his back, "My army is strong because we aren't afraid to risk our lives for the safety of others, Herobrine. Service before self, like you said when you created the Minecraftian Armed Forces."
Herobrine turned and finally looked at him, his soul-less gaze staring at him, "You just won't give up, will you?"
Sky nodded. Herobrine growled, "I can't argue with your army's use. You may fight beside me. Train hard..."
He smiled and rested a hand on Sky's shoulder. "Commander Dahlberg."
Sky smiled, his eyes glowing more bright, "Of course, sir."
He saluted Herobrine, not knowing how nostalgic it made him. Herobrine chuckled, he returned a salute. Sky realized how perfect his form and salute stance was. His observing thoughts were interrupted when Herobrine spoke, "I'm counting on you, cadet."
Sky smiled, his eyes full of determination. Herobrine lowered his hand slowly. He kept quiet but then gave a soft yelp as something jumped on him from behind. Sky stepped back and watched Rive lick Herobrine's cheek, barking on and on about how he was amazing. Herobrine, irritated, lifted the full-grown wolf up, much to Sky's shock, and set him down, "Pipe down."
Herobrine turned as a soldier approached him cautiously. Right in front of him, was a female elite soldier, Killia. She narrowed her eyes, "You really are Herobrine."
Herobrine, somehow feeling threatened, nodded slowly. Killia scowled, muttered something under her breath and walked away. Herobrine smirked, "Heard that."
Sky turned, "What did she say?"
Herobrine shook his head, grinning suspiciously, "Oh, don't worry. Just a couple of things about how disgusting I am. You know, the usual."
The two stood in silence. It took one more studying look at his mentor before Sky could realize how much Herobrine had suffered. He gasped, "Your forehead is bleeding."
"I know."
Sky stared at him.
"How are you so calm?!"
"I've had a bear trap on my foot, bleeding doesn't faze me. Unlike you."
Sky growled and Herobrine smirked.
