Disclaimer: I do NOT own the game 'Minecraft'. I only own this AU series.

Kait from Nov 2018 editing, it's so weird to write Herobrine instead of Hero. Almost cringey lmao 🤧

"He's waking up, Seto!"

Herobrine sat up, gasping. He held his cheek, eyes wide. He croaked, "Holy fuck, I died. Am I in the Aether?"

A familiar voice answered him, "Yes, you are."

Herobrine raised his head to see someone who he had thought was gone forever.

"Markus!"

Herobrine immediately held his arms out and pulled his younger brother in a hug. Markus laughed heartily as he squeezed him tight. He pulled away to look at him. The king looked much more younger than when he died. The Swede spotted bite scars on his neck but decided not to dwell on it. Herobrine smiled wide, and he had to admit, he had never felt happier before. The two laughed as they sat in a brotherly embrace, not aware of others watching them in amusement.

Markus pulled away and helped his older brother from the ground and said, "I like your outfit. Fancy suits you."

Herobrine raised an eyebrow and looked down. Then raised his head. Markus was wearing the clothes he had when he died, but Herobrine was not wearing his armor.

"What is this costume?"

Someone laughed. Herobrine looked behind his brother to find Seto. The sorcerer seemed more lively since the last time Herobrine saw him.

The sorcerer said, "That blue 'costume' means you're an incredibly important individual."

"Like a military uniform," the Swede deadpanned.

The sorcerer chuckled, "Something like that."

Seto grabbed his hand and led him through the starry and cloudy land. Markus waved him off cheerily and Herobrine took the time to look at what he wore. He was in his house colors, blue. He had a light blue button-up on, and the sleeves folded at his elbows. On top of the button-up, was a soft navy blue waistcoat. He smoothed a hand through it, relishing the material. His fingers brushed against his collar, and he found two pins on one of them. He removed them.

One had the letters 'MRA' squeezed in a small ring of flowers. It shone silver on bronze, and Herobrine could spot every tiny detail. He saw thorns peek out beneath the flowers. The other badge shone white on bronze. It showed the letter 'A' overlapping two weapons crossed into an 'X'. One of the weapons was a familiar looking katana, and the other was a scythe. On the MRA badge, it had flowers surround it, however, on this one, one white wing and one black wing folded around the middle emblem. It was beautiful. He placed them back on.

Herobrine then looked down. He had a thin black belt on, but he stared at the extra cloth flowing down his sides. It was like a see-through skirt. It was silvery, and flowed beautifully, even though it only wrapped the back of his body and rested above his knees. It was basically the bottom ends of a tailcoat. He had combat pants on, like the ones in the military uniform, with a pistol sheath on one of his thighs. He had black polished boots that reached mid-calf. He looked down at his hands. They were covered by brown fingerless leather gloves.

Seto had spoken, and they had stopped as well. They stood in a heavenly clouded land. They stood in fluffy white clouds, and the stars shone gorgeously on them. "Welcome to the Aether, your highness. Apparently, everyone has been awaiting you, from what I've heard."

Herobrine blinked at him, confused. Seto stared seriously at him with chocolate eyes. Herobrine noticed how they seemed to have caramel colored stars dancing with every blink. It looked amazing.
