Sophie
The rest of the week flashed by in a haze. It helped that she had friends at school and as much as she didn't want to admit it, she liked being around people her age.
She could tell that Keefe was still suspicious about the whole I-know-your-mom-is-evil situation but she needed to see that to see if he knew anything. He didn't, so she didn't learn anything and ended up making him suspicious.
Way to go Sophie! She cursed herself but it seemed that cute boys and nice girls made her weaker.
Get your head in the game! This was on loop in her head as she drove to Biana's place.
When she arrived her jaw nearly dropped. She had heard that the Vacker mansion was spectacular but she wasn't expecting this. This was more like a castle than a house!
She parked her car in the driveway and was met at the door with a grinning Biana.
She was confused, why was Biana so happy? Her question was answered a second later when Biana squealed and shouted "Makeover Time!"
Sophie almost gagged, "Biana no!"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"N-"
Sophie was cut off by Biana grabbing her arm and dragging her upstairs. She could've resisted but she knew people would question how she was so strong especially since Biana had a strong grip.
"Fineeeee but nothing too fancy."
Biana faked a salute and got to work.

When Sophie looked in the Mirror, she gasped. Looking back at her was a very elegant yet natural-looking girl. Biana, true to her word, didn't overdo it and she loved it. She turned to Biana to express her gratitude. "Thank you Biana, it's so good!" Biana flashed a perfect smile and replied, "No problem, now let's go show the boys," while wiggling her eyebrows.
Sophie internally groaned. One thing she hated was attention, especially from boys.
She walked down the grand staircase, graceful as a cat, and was met with three gaping boys.
Keefe
Keefe watched as she glided down the stairs. She was stunning and he could do nothing but stare. From the corner of his eye, he saw that Fitz and Dex had similar reactions.
Sophie caught their gaze and turned red as a tomato. Someone coughed behind him and he whipped his head around. He saw Marella behind him with a raised eyebrow and a hand on her hip.
He flushed and she smirked. "I came to ask if you wanted to play Base Quest?"
Keefe perked up at this and smiled mischievously. "You know I never say no to Base Quest."
"What's Base Quest?"
Keefe spun around to see it was Sophie who asked the question. His eyes nearly bulged out of his head. "You don't know what Base Quest is?"
Sophie looked to the floor awkwardly. Biana butted in, sensing she was uncomfortable. "It's okay, I'll explain the rules."
While she did that, he devised teams. The final teams were: Keefe, Sophie, Linh, Dex and Fitz, Biana, Marella and Tam.
"Woo-hoo, team Foster-Keefe prevails!"
Sophie blushed while Tam grumbled, "More like team Sophie and the blond-haired idiot."
Keefe faked hurt, clutching his chest. "You wound me, Bangs Boy."
Tam was about to retort before Marella told him to shut it.
He muttered something about lord funkyhair before leading the way outside.

Sophie
Even though it was Sophie's first time at the game, she was a pro. Her stealth training helped a lot, it allowed her to sneak up or away from people. She had already tagged everyone except for Tam and was now heading for him.
She was in a tree watching the ground, searching when she saw a flash of black. It stopped, revealing Tam. He looked around as if sensing Sophie but not knowing where she was. She figured this was her chance and dropped to the ground quiet as a cat but at the last second, he spun around.
She barely had time to dodge before he reached his hand. She grinned, "You're gonna have to do more than that to catch me." With that, she flipped over his head with amazing technique and tagged him on the shoulder. She smirked, "Got you."
Tam gaped at her while the rest of their friends joined her. "How'd you do that," still staring at her in disbelief.
"Gymnastics is one of my hobbies." She lied smoothly. After years of being with the Black Swan, she had gotten pretty good at that.
Everyone accepted that live and she grinned in victory. All the way back to the house her team gloated.
"We win, you lose!"
"More like Sophie won."
"Whatever, I was on her team so I won too!"
Sensing that this could go on forever Sophie decided to butt in. "So, what are we gonna do now?"
"Truth or Dare!!!"
"Ughhhhhhh Biana, no!"
"You don't have a choice."
She appealed to the others. "You guys want to do Truth or Dare too?"
Dex shrugged, "We don't want to but when Biana gets an idea in her head, there's no talking her out of it!"
Sophie pouted while everyone laughed.
When they arrived back at the house, everyone sat in a circle while Biana grinned mischievously. "My turn first!" she exclaimed.
Sophie saw everyone grimace. Keefe caught her confusion and leaned over, "Biana's known for picking some of the most embarrassing dares." Sophie internally groaned for what was probably the billionth time today. Just what she needed. More embarrassment.
"Ok, ummm Tam, who is your crush?" Biana questioned as she twirled her hair flirtatiously. He turned red and mumbled something under his breath. "What was that?" Linh asked in a teasing voice. "You never said it had to be audible," was the only reply. Biana scowled.
The next few were dares that consisted of dumping milk on Keefe's hair, Dex running around the house like a Pony and Fitz proclaiming to the world that he had changed his name to Wonderboy.
When Fitz's turn ended, he turned to Sophie and asked, "Truth or Dare."
"Ummmm, truth," she responded nervously, not wanting an embarrassing dare.
Sensing that she was nervous, he flashed his movie star smile and reassured Sophie. "Don't worry I'll go easy on you." Sophie nodded. "So, you never talk about your parents and I wanted to know what they do for a living." (Pretend that they talked about their parents before and Sophie didn't say anything)
It should've been an easy question to answer but the mention of her parents triggered her PTSD. She started trembling and tears ran do her face. She squeezed her eyes shut but that was a mistake. That started the flashbacks.
Her mom's screams. Blood. Dead.
BEEP
Her dad's gasp. Blood. Dead
BEEP
Amy's cries. Blood. Dead.
BEEP
All of them are gone. Dead. She was all alone.
1090 words!
Woo-hoo! This is a new record! Anyway, I hope this chapter was funny. Thank you for your support in reading this far!
Enjoy!
