Wilbur P.O.V.

I ran out to the playground. I ran until I found Sadalia. I ran up and hugged her.

Sadalia: Woah! Wilbur, are you okay?

I put my head into her shoulder.

Sadalia: Hey, it's okay.

Sadalia's P.O.V.

After getting out what was on Wilbur's mind, I finally decided to talk it out with him.

"Wilbur, you can't just keep running away from a chance of getting a proper home. I mean these people obviously are perfect for you."

Wilbur: What...bout...you?

"I'll be fine, Wilbur. I'll get a family of my own, soon. We'll see each other. It is, after all, a small world."

He looked at me and hugged me.

Wilbur: Sadalia...you...are...family.

I hugged him back.

"You'll always be my family, too."

Wilbur's P.O.V.

I went back to the Lightfoot family.

They were excited to see me again.

"Sowee."

I went up and hugged the father's legs.

"I...want...you...to...be...family."

They looked touched.

Later on

Director: Goodbye, Wilbur. And good luck.

I waved goodbye to the director and to the orphanage. I was off with my new family.

Soon enough, we made it to the house.

I was greeted by a small green dragon with a spot around one of its eyes. It looked excited as it came crawling very quickly at me. I got frightened and started growling at me.

Mom: No, no, Blazey. This is Wilbur, he's a new family member. Treat him nicely.

I barked at "Blazey" and she backed away immediately.

Barley: Woah. How'd you do that?

I looked at him and shrugged. Dad chuckled.

Dad: Ok, they'll need some time to adjust to each other. But I think that Wilbur Lightfoot is gonna get along with us fine.

Months Later

I was getting along with the Lightfoots and with Blazey. My English was getting better. Dad let me help him whenever he was fixing things, like plumbing or even the radio. Mom let me participate in her workouts. She was a lot better, because she had longer legs. Barley taught me about his favorite game called Quests of Yore. He knew a lot about the olden days and a lot about magic. I even taught him about my country and about how I came to their world. We were both eager to learn from each other. I was happy with my family, and I was even more happy to know that soon, I was going to have a baby brother.

Mom: What do you boys want to name him?

Wilbur: Griffindore.

Mom: Mmm, I don't know.

Dad: How about Douglas?

Mom: Yeah, no.

Barley: Iandore Lightfoot. Ian for short.

We all thought about that.

Mom: I actually like that.

Dad: That'll work. What about you, Wilbur?

I nodded.

Wilbur: Yeah. Yeah.

Dad smiled but then grunted and held his chest as he fell down.

Mom: Will!

Barley and Wilbur: Dad!
