Chapter 1: The Foolish King
I think my father is not very intelligent. I don't understand how he became the king. His name is King Howard. Unfortunately, my mother passed away while giving birth to me. My father was in a war with King Jermey who wanted to take over the throne and become the king of France. Many people were supporting King Jermey and were against my father. My father was worried because he didn't have a big army. Even I was worried. My father wanted to talk to Loki for help.
I was upset when I found out that my father was planning to seek help from Loki. I rushed to talk to him and tried to persuade him against it.
'Father, Loki is an evil man! Why are you asking him for help?' I asked.
'How dare you disrespect me and question my judgment?!' King Howard asks angrily.
'I am not trying to disrespect you, but I am questioning your judgment. I do not trust Loki and I cannot understand why you do. There are plenty of other people who could help you,' I replied, also feeling angry.
"I am not getting any support from anyone. The only one who is willing to help me is Loki. He has a powerful army and has been a great friend," said King Howard.
"The reason why people are not coming forward to help you is that you have not been a good leader. You have angered a lot of people. Loki is not your friend, he is just using you," I replied in an angry tone.
"I want you to get out of my sight!" King Howard yelled.
"Fine, I will leave. I am trying to warn you. How am I supposed to have respect for you when you make poor choices?" I replied angrily. Then, I stormed off with tears streaming down my face.
I was so angry with my father that I refused to come down for dinner. He was upset with me for not joining him, but I didn't care. In my opinion, my father was being foolish and ignorant.
That's when my maid Sabrina entered my room. She's a good witch and has been taking care of me since my mother passed away. Sabrina's primary role is to protect me, and I love her like a mother and sister.
Sabrina asked me what was wrong, and I vented my frustration about my father's foolishness. He was seeking help from Loki to win the war against King Jermey, which I found ridiculous and infuriating.
"I try to tell my father that he is making a big mistake by asking Loki for help. But he won't listen to me!" I said to Sabrina, frustrated.
"He's not in his right mind," Sabrina replied, equally frustrated. "Loki is not helping your father with anything. He's brainwashing him."
Sabrina
Sabrina was concerned about Princess Jenny's well-being. She was aware that Loki desired to become king and marry Princess Jenny. However, Sabrina felt powerless to intervene, as good witches are prohibited from causing harm or meddling in others' problems unless someone's life is in danger. She had promised Princess Jenny's mother that she would look after and safeguard Princess Jenny.
