Chapter 14: The Party

Princess Helen was overjoyed as she couldn't believe she was finally marrying the man she loved. However, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness as she wished her father was here to witness this special day. Despite all the terrible things he had done, she still loved him. Meanwhile, George had returned to Scotland to visit his father, King Richard. The king was thrilled to see his son and was even more delighted to learn that George had a son named Eric, who was being cared for by Linda and Patrick. George went on to become King Richard's successor.

Princess Helen, Lucy, and Princess Jenny went shopping for the upcoming wedding. Princess Helen was looking for her wedding dress while Prince Nicholas was away in New York. During this time, Prince Nicholas started to develop feelings for Lucy and his father approved of her as a potential partner for his son. Lucy also reciprocated Prince Nicholas's feelings and her brother Eric didn't mind if they dated. Eric believed that Prince Nicholas was a good man.

During dinner, Eric was joined by his business partner Ryan Madison and Ryan's fiancée, Emily Ross, who was a lawyer. The two couples became good friends.

King Richard planned to host an engagement party for Eric and Princess Helen. Eric was to be the successor to King George's throne. The entire kingdom was overjoyed to learn that Prince George and his son were still alive.

A month had passed since Eric and Princess Helen got engaged, and it was time for their engagement party. Eric was disappointed that his parents didn't attend the party because they were still upset with him and Lucy. Meanwhile, his friend Daniel revealed that he was planning to propose to Princess Jenny, which made Eric happy for him.

At the party, Eric noticed that Loki and Princess Natalie were there, which made him angry because Loki had betrayed him in the past. However, Eric didn't say anything about it. He also observed that Loki was looking at Emily, but Princess Natalie didn't seem bothered by it. Ryan, on the other hand, was upset about it, but Eric reassured him that Emily would never be interested in Loki.
