Our goodbye

*a loud noise coming from outside wakes Josh and Jocelyn up in the morning*

Josh: Did you hear that?

Jocelyn: Yeah, what the fuck was that?

Josh: I don't know... I didn't hear what it was, I only know I heard something.

Jocelyn: Should we look out the window?

Josh: I'll look. You just stay comfortable here okay?

*Josh steps out of bed and walks over to the window*

Josh: Oh, it's just the neighbors.

Jocelyn: What were they doing?

Josh: As far as I can see, they dropped a lot of tools on the street. And the neighbor is trying to pick them all up.

Jocelyn: Jesus... So early in the morning?

Josh: It's only ten o'clock. 

Jocelyn: It feels like it's six... That's probably the blunts doing. It makes you kind of dull in the morning.

Josh: Ah yeah... I get what you mean.

Jocelyn: I am just gonna go for a shower to wake up a little.

Josh: Sure! I will make us some breakfast in the meantime.

*Jocelyn steps out of bed and walks over to the bathroom. Josh heads to the kitchen to make breakfast. After a little bit, Jocelyn comes downstairs wearing her set of their matching outfit and her necklace*

Josh: I got us some noodles with boiled eggs! 

Jocelyn: Noodles? It's been a while since I ate that, thank you!

Josh: No problem. I need to head upstairs for just a second, be right back!

*Josh walks upstairs and a moment later, he comes back wearing his set of the matching outfit and his necklace*

Jocelyn: I will keep this outfit for a very long time...

Josh: Just to remember our memories.

*they smile at each other and sit down. They start eating and after a bit, Jocelyn breaks the silence* 

Jocelyn: I guess I will start packing after breakfast...

Josh: Oh I almost forgot, good morning.

Jocelyn: Last time we can say that, isn't it? Good morning.

Josh: Do you need help with packing?

Jocelyn: No, but if you want to help anyway, that's fine of course.

Josh: I will help you. So we can spend a little bit more time together...

*when they are finally done eating, they head upstairs and start packing. Jocelyn grabs the speaker and connects her phone to it. Like usually she puts on her playlist*

Josh: I really am gonna miss your music filling the house...

Jocelyn: Any requests?

Josh: Nah, just play whatever you want to.

Jocelyn: Alright!

*Jocelyn picks out a song and the first song is: "We'll Meet Again-Vera Lynn"*

Josh: Do you think we will ever meet again?

Jocelyn: We have a good chance to, I think? We live quite close to each other and uhm... Maybe at movie premieres? Or any other events? Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I got an email from the director I met at the set.

Josh: Really? What did it say?

Jocelyn: He asked if I had any interest in being casted as a main character for a movie that's going to be shooting next month.

Josh: Really?! That's awesome! You can finally follow your dream!

Jocelyn: Yeah, exactly!

Josh: I'm so proud of you... I know you could go to great lengths in the acting world.

Jocelyn: You think so?

Josh: I don't think so... I know so!

*most of the things are packed now and they are chatting for just a little longer*      

Josh: We're almost done... This is going to be so weird not having you around anymore.

Jocelyn: It's going to be weird to be waking up at my own house.

*they keep on packing her stuff until everything is packed, including her pillow and blanket in Josh his room*

Josh: Let's get your stuff in the car.

Jocelyn: Sure, I can carry two of the four boxes. Can you also carry two?

Josh: Sure, I can carry two boxes for you.

*Jocelyn grabs two boxes and heads downstairs. Josh does the same, but puts down the boxes he is carrying in the hallway and opens the front door, along with the door on the back of his car. Jocelyn puts down the two boxes she is holding in the car and Josh picks up the other two boxes again and places them next to the other two boxes*

Josh: You got everything? Are you one hundred percent sure?

Jocelyn: I am sure. I am not wearing my bracelet right now but I put it in my jacket right before I packed it.

Josh: Let's take you to your house then...

Jocelyn: But it's my car? How are you going back home?

Josh: I want to take you to your house, so I can say my last goodbye... I will just walk home. I need to go to the supermarket anyway, which is on the road home.

Jocelyn: Alright then...

*they both step in the car and Josh starts driving. Jocelyn starts getting a little teary eyed and Josh notices this when he glances over at her*

Josh: It's okay... You're going to be okay.

*Josh puts his hand on her thigh to comfort her and the tears start rolling down. She manages to stay quiet even though she is crying*

Josh: I know... I get it, Jocelyn... Even though we are separating, I can promise you that you are able to continue your journey without any problems.

*after some time, they arrive at Jocelyn her home and they step out of the car. Josh walks up to the back of the car to grab two boxes*

Josh: I will help you get these boxes to your room.

Jocelyn: Alright, thank you...

*Jocelyn opens the front door and also grabs two boxes from the car. After they placed the boxes in her room, they walked back outside to say goodbye*

Josh: So, this is the end...

Jocelyn: I'm gonna miss you...

*Jocelyn suddenly hugs Josh very tightly and starts crying again. Josh also starts getting tears in his eyes*

Josh: I'm... Going to miss you too... 

Jocelyn: I will keep the pictures we made in a special album in my phone...

*after a bit, Josh plants a kiss on Jocelyn her forehead and lets go of the hug*

Josh: Goodbye, Jocelyn...

Jocelyn: Bye, Josh...

*Josh takes a few steps in the direction he has to go while Jocelyn walks to her front door. They wave to each other before Josh starts walking home and Jocelyn steps inside, closing the door*
