Chapter 2 part 2

Those in the room said nothing in shock silence, the mirror only waited a second before its face turned to Akaza to speak to her directly. "The name given is not her own... though I do not know her true name...you have forgotten it, haven't you?"

She exhaled, a tsk noise leaving her lips. What did this mirror know about her life that she didn't know herself? She didn't forget anything.

    "There's no way the black carriage would pick up a monster, much less two magicless students!" Crowley exclaimed in shock, the mirror had never erred and there would be no reason for it now. "In 100 years, there has not been any mistake in student selection. Why in the world..." Crowley trailed off looking at the Akaza and then Yuuken, pondering the mirrors words. His glowing yellow eyes widened as he remembered a certain word the mirror had said, his head whipped back over to the mirror.

"WAIT SHE?!?!?!" He shrieked, not only had two magicless students arrive but one of the students was female.

"There's a girl here?"
"Sweet man! Maybe I can turn on the charm?"
"No girl would like you, Benny."
"It's Benji, dammit!"

She gripped the clasp of the robe around her waist, unbuckling it and dropping it from her shoulders. "Yes, I am." She said flatly. The robe was pulled off and hung over her forearm, the occupants of the room could see her fully. Her messy pink hair that framed her face, the grey skin covered in blue tattoos, the pink vest that barely covered her chest, and the loose pants tied with green rope around her waist. She was visibly muscular, her toned arms and abs on display due to her outfit. Her eyes were the most intimidating and mysterious part of her, the golden moons glowing against a backdrop of fractured blue sky. The kanji words in place of her pupils brought more questions than answers.

    "Mggh.... puh!" The cat, Grim was able to wiggle out of the whip as Crowley had lost his focus on him due to the shock of the situation. "If they can't use magic then give that seat to me!"

    "Ah, wait! This raccoon!" Crowley said in alarm scrambling to gather up his whip to capture the cat again.

    "Unlike those humans over there," Akaza rolled her eyes at this, she is clearly not human. The creature must be in denial, it had definitely sensed her presence as a threat as it had been warily watching her the entire time she was around it. "I can use magic! That's why, put me into the academy instead! If it's magic you want, I'll show you an extraordinary one now!"

    "Everyone, take cover!" The red haired man yelled. Those around him ducked as the cat breathed blue fire, the drapery in the vicinity was set ablaze. The blue fire licked her skin as she stood there, she had no reason to duck. The flames were no where near as powerful as the flames of a certain hashira she was able to battle before this situation happened, he was a good fight even though it was short. She would have loved to make him a demon, he had so much potential to grow as a fighter and that excited her. It was a pity he declined, he would have been a great sparring partner and an even better demon...

    "NNGGGAAAHHHH!!" The cat yelled as he spewed more fire. More students ducked as the flames spread through the room.

    "Uwaa!! Hot, hot, hot, hot! The fire got to my butt!" The white haired man shrieked, panicked eyes becoming misty with unshed tears. Yuuken jumped into action, ripping off his robe and using it to put out the flames clinging to the other man's butt.

    "If this keeps up, the academy will turn into a sea of fire!" Crowley shrieked, head swiveling around wildly as he looked from the cat to the flames and then to the dorm leaders. "Someone, seize that raccoon!"

    "Tch... how tiresome." The man with lion ears scowled, as his already fowl mood worsened. He just wanted peace and quiet to nap.

    "Oh? Isn't hunting your specialty?" The beautiful man jabbed, not missing a chance to subtly insult the other man. The beauty did not offer any help as well. "Isn't it a plump, fat, ideal dessert?"

    "Why must I? You do it." His ears flicked in annoyance, why should he have to do anything? He should be sleeping right now.

    "Crowley-sensei," the man in glasses stated, faux smile still wholly present despite the circumstances. "Leave it to me. To hurt and capture an innocent small animal... I shall take over this role that everyone hates." His lips turned down but his eyes remained closed.

    "As expected from Azul-shi. Here comes the unofficial credits[1] earner!" Came from the tablet, the term confused Akaza as she has never heard of it before.

    "Hey, please put out the fire on my butt!?" The white haired male said, urging the other student to hurry.

    "I'm trying, just please hold still!" Yuuken addressed the white haired man.

    "Everyone, are you listening to me!?" Crowley shrieked as the students continued to ignore him.

"Hhaaa..." the man with lion ears sighed, scowling and staring straight at Crowley. "If it's just catching a raccoon, you do it, Teacher."

    "How many times will you make me say that I'm not a raccoon!?" The cat shouted as its tail swayed back and forth in annoyance. "I am Grimm, the man who will become a great magician!"

    "A small animal with such a strong might." The silver haired man, Azul, falsely praised. He turned to the redhead. "Riddle-san, would you please?"

    "I can't overlook an offender, after all. Let's get this over with." Riddle sighed as he drew a pen topped with a beautiful ruby in a gold frame from his pocket. Akaza, who hasn't been paying the most attention to the panic of weaklings, raised a brow at the writing tool. What would a tiny pen do against fire?

    "You have guts to break the rules in front of me!" Riddle shouted as he brandished his pen.

    "Let's capture him quickly. The dawn will break if we go slowly." Azul stated also brandishing his pen, instead of a ruby in the frame it was an amethyst.

    "Funaaa!? A dead-end!?" Grimm yelled. Though he tensed up, ready to fight, contrary to the finality of his statement.

    "You didn't even realize we're only letting you free? What a pitiful raccoon." Azul taunted, a sinister smirk on his face.

    "Resign to your fate. If you do not..." Riddle warned the cat monster as he glared down at Grimm.

    "No!! I'm going to enter this school!" Grimm refuted as the fur on the back of his hackles raised.

    "Azul, stand back!" Riddle yelled, lunging forward.

    "Funaaaa~~~~~~~~!!!" Grimm dropped his jaw as flames spewed from his maw.
