"Because he's a coward and a bastard. Likewise, the guy is 2000 years old. Yes, I know shocking. But the truth. He has lived years, decades, centuries because of the curse that Kitsune gave him. He is immortal and can only be killed by one person, the One. Which is you," Triphena explains. She continues, "he used a gun because he knew that he would die the minute he touched you or touches you. His powers are weak against yours. Remember that. That's the only power you will ever have over that son of a whore. And as for how you will kill him? You can kill him using your powers but kill him using the sword of the light, it is quicker. That sword isn't a normal sword, but a sword that was wielded from a broken star. A sword that was given to the first One. So Winter Snow, my sister's pack has the sword. Lachlan," she turns around to face Lachlan, "Elizabeth will never listen to me but Caleb will listen to you. You two go and meet him." She sighs ,"Well that was a long explanation. David, darling, explain him the whole One concept. I am tired."
This is a lot to take in, in all fairness. This Wayne Cooke guy sounds like a right asshole.
"Now, the One is someone who is chosen by the wolf spirits-" my dad starts to explain.
"That's why there was so much disturbance in the spirit world," Che exclaims.
"Yes, now continuing, the One is the supposed saviour of the pack and usually makes his own pack but considering you're in a pack, you won't need one. (Well, people, hint hint ;))" Just then I feel something. Like a betrayal. I don't know why. No one in this room would ever betray me so then why? Why do I feel like this? I look around to see anything suspicious but nothing. Nothing.
Shaking these thoughts, I ask, "So what do I do now?"
"You train. I haven't done this in years but I will do it myself," dad says, with a sly smile. Look who just turned badass, my beloved father.
