Maya's POV
"Hi Josh," I said as I walked in.
"Maya!" He said with a smile.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked as my dad helped me over to the bed.
"No. why would I be mad at you?" Josh asked.
"For us being in that accident," I said as I looked down.
"Maya that wasn't you fault. it was mine I was texting and driving I put u in danger. Shawn I put your daughter in danger," Josh said with tear in his eye.
"Josh don't stress about buddy all that matters is she is okay and your okay," my dad said as he hugged me.
"Shawn we aren't okay we missed 3 months of our lives! Maya missed her family getting back together and she missed her baby brother being born," Josh said slowly.
"Josh she is awake now and so are you we can get our lives back. You are forgiven," my dad said as he left.
"Maya we can't be together. Im bad for you I got you hurt and I don't want to do that to you. We have to break up. I love you Maya," Josh said as he put his head down.
"No! No Josh!" I yelled.
My dad ran back in.
"What? What happened?" My dad asked.
"He dumped me dad!" I yelled.
"Shawn please I'm not good for her I don't want to hurt her anymore take her to see her brother," Josh said pointing to the door.
My dad picked me up and carried me out and I buried my head in my dads shirt and sobbed.
We walked into my mom's hospital room.
"Maya?" My mom said.
"Mom!" I said as I smiled through my tears.
"What's wrong," My mom asked.
"Josh dumped me!" I yelled as my dad sat me on her bed.
"Why would he do that?" My mom asked.
"He doesn't want to hurt me again!" I said.
"Maya I think you guys need space to get through this accident we almost lose you I don't want there to be a next time," My dad said as he rubbed his neck.
"Your right. Daddy," I said as I unlocked my phone. I went and looked at my contacts Bradley.
Maya: Hi Bradley Its Maya idk if you remember my im the girl from New York
Bradley: Hey! I remember ya how can you for get a beautiful face like urs?
