I found my self in a grave yard but not any grave yard one in PA the one my Grandpa Chet is in. I sat next to his grave stone, my dad took me here a couple times growing up he told me stories to. "Papa Chet I don't know if your here right now but I'm going to talk and I'm going to hope your listening. I did something real bad today I yelled at Cory and broke his phone. I know my dads going to kill me when he finds out." I said as I ripped grass from the ground.
"You got the temper of your father that's for sure." A man said as he sat in front of me.
"Who are you?" I asked
"I'm guessing I'm you grandpa." The man laughed.
"How am I talking to you?" I asked
"I'm here to help you like I help you father." He said Now look Maya a hunter doesn't run away from there problems they face them what kind of problems are you having that you thought you need to run away?
"Everything really. I'm being pushed to make sure my grades are high that way I graduate to middle school and I'm dumbed by someone who I thought loved me and I'm traumatically stressed." I said slowly.
"You got a best friend like Corky right?" He asked.
"Yeah his daughter Riley. Why? Wait did you call Cory Corky?" I asked
"Corky Cory same thing my point is if she is anything like that father of hers then she will keep u in line that's who kept my boy in line and now look at him." He said as he got up.
"I just don't know what to do anymore." I said.
"I'll tell you. I want you to go to the Matthews call your father and tell him your okay let him know your on the next train home and then go work things out with him he will help you Maya he loves you very much and if he yells at you and grounds you just know it's a part of growing up." He said as he disappeared.
I did what was right and walked to the Matthews house but I didn't go in or anything I walked right by and went straight to a pay phone and called my dad.
"Daddy?" I said when I herd the phone be picked up.
"Maya! Where are you?" I herd my dad say.
"In PA." I said.
"Maya! What are you thinking you could get you self hurt you can't run and stuff your hurt! I want you to get you butt on the next subway and get home! And when you get here we are going to have a talk young lady!" My said yelled.
"Yes sir" I said as I hung up.
I walked straight to the closest sub station and was on my way home.
"Hey little girl," I guy said as he sat next to me.
"Hi?" I said.
"How old are you?" He asked as he put his hand on my leg.
I tried to move away but the guy wouldn't let me.
"18" I lied.
"Really?" He asked as his head got closer to mine.
"Ye...ye...yes" I said
"Good." He said as he kissed me.
I jumped up and slapped him and ran to the closest lady.
"Mom? That guy kissed me mom." I said looking at the lady.
"Security." The woman called.
I thought the security was for the man but I was wrong.
I sat in the subway office for an hour before my dad got there by that time they had found the alcohol in my system or what was left of it.
"Maya!" I herd. I ran and hugged my dad.
"Mr. Hunter here are your daughters release papers and here are her changes." The officer said as he handed my dad the papers.
He signed and we went to the car.
"You had alcohol? Where did you get that Maya?" He said.
"Moms closet." I said slowly.
"You don't do that! Maya your grounded for like months and you hugged a Lady and called her mom?"
"A creepy guy kissed me dad and I was trying to get rid of him." I said.
"Cory's right your not ready for the world yet and if you aren't Riley isn't either. Your to go home and study and that's what your to do until you graduate middle school! Got it!!" He yelled as he started the car.
The car ride home was very quite I didn't talk and neither did my dad.
