Third person POV

From the minute Damien and Noel stood up, Luca had been keeping his eyes on them. Not for superstitious reasons or whatnot, he was just really happy that Noel came to live with them.

Sure he had Angela but it wasn't the same plus she had always been closer to the twins.

The connection between them wasn't as strong as the one he had managed to build with Noel in such a short span of time.

He looked at them again just in time to see Noel showing him the cotton candy, he smiled at her and continued eating when she turned around.

From time to time he would look up from his phone and watch his eldest brother and youngest cousin take pictures.

Then when Noel took back the phone from the station owner he failed to notice the sinister look in the latter's eyes.

Slowly the station owner went down and took out a gun he hid in the leg of his jeans. He brought it up and aimed it at Noel's retreating figure.

"I think I'm ready to go now, call Damien and Noel" Vittoria said to Luca.

He looked where they were and his eyes landed on the figure behind them.

Without hesitation he stood up and took out the gun from the waist band of his shorts and shot the station owner in between his eyes.

The minute Luca shot the owner, his gun also went off but it diverted from original direction because of him being shot.

Unfortunately it went to a teenage girl who was passing by when the incident happened, she got shot in the stomach, blood immediately oozed out.

People started fleeing the seen scared for their lives.

"Olivia!!" The girl who was with Olivia started screaming her name seeing her on the floor unresponsive.

She took of her jacket and placed it where her friend got shot and called for help.

The station owner was not acting alone, he had accomplices around the carnival who disguised themselves as workers to make their jobs easier.

They were also stationed near the cotton candy owner so they took out their guns when they saw their partner shot.

Noel who was still taking in what just happened looked dumbly at Luca seeing him carrying a gun.

"Luca?" she questioned shocked.

Luca looked at her and was about to say something but caught something in the corner of his eye so he looked addressed.

"We have to go now!" he said.

Not long after that they guys started firing. If there was chaos before, it had nothing on what was happening now.

"Take Cover!!" Dante shouted and everyone obliged, it just so happened that Noel was in between Damien and Stefan when they were running.

When Dante said to take cover she was closer to Stefan and he pulled her with him to the side and the others went to the other one.

"It's going to be okay, we're gonna get out of here" he said trying to assure Noel, she looked at him and nodded while smiling slightly. The two guys were now taken care of.

They hurried to the gate but what was awaiting them was bigger than what was happening inside.

They were stopped by the people at the gate about twenty five of them wearing black outfits and carrying guns did I mention aimed at them?
