The sun had made it high enough to reach the peak of the church. Sister Lily picked up three letters and furrowed her brows. She stepped in and was greeted by excited children and Orsi.
"What news do Yuno and Asta have this time?" Orsi asked, excited.
Lily shuffled the letters and organized them. "Well let's see what Yuno has to say," she read through the contents and gasped. "He's been promoted to a first-class junior magic knight!" She exclaimed.
Everyone gasped and cheered. Orsi waved his fists in the air, and cried tears of joy.
"He really is the hope of Hage!" Orsi wiped his tears and looked back at sister Lily. "What about Asta?" He asked.
The nun opened the next letter and began to read through it. Her facial expressions had gone through several changes which were quite evident. She folded the letter and looked at the group.
"Looks like Asta's a junior magic knight now." She said.
Nash gasped and said, "for being mana-less, he really knows how to pull his own weight."
Orsi kept his eye on the nun and he looked at the folded at letter. "Why'd you make the strange faces?" He asked.
Lily pulled the letter close to her chest and grew flustered. "Oh, no reason. I'm just surprised. That's all." She said.
The man raised a brow and opened the palm of his hand. "I want to read the third letter." He said.
The nun quickly gave the man the third letter without any thought. "Sure." She handed him the letter and watched him open it.
Orsi quickly opened the letter and was impressed. "Neat handwriting," he remarked. He decided to read the contents of the letter out loud as he thought it was a letter from Yuno. "Hello, you don't know me; however, me and Asta are very close," the man put the letter aside and looked at the nun.
"Who does Asta know?" Nash asked.
Sister Lily's eyes widened and she tightened her grip on Asta's letter. "Oh, it could be someone."
Orsi looked back at the letter and continued to read it. "My name is Noelle. Just Noelle. Asta had happened to spend all of his money on me recently like an idiot, despite me begging him not to, but he insisted anyway. I asked Yuno for your address and here we are. I really just wanted to introduce myself with this letter, and also send you guys money that I unintentionally stole from you. I'm sorry, it's bakasta's fault, not mine,"
"Bakasta?" The nun tried not to chuckle, and she heard giggling coming from the children.
"Anyways, I hope you guys have a lovely day. Love, Noelle," Orsi hummed and glanced at the nun. "So, did Asta really not share anything else in the letter?"
The nun let out a nervous chuckle. "Well, he did mention a girl." She said.
Orsi raised a brow. "Anything else?" He asked.
Sister Lily chuckled some more. "Well, it's a little surprising, but he did include it in the letter. He needs my advice on how to confess his feelings to her." She said.
"What?!" Everyone but the nun exclaimed.
The nun giggled and looked at Asta's letter. "I don't know how I'll be of help either. I'm a nun, not a matchmaker or whatever normal people call them. I guess I could still talk to him." She said.
Orsi shook his head and swapped the letter from Lily's hand. "The boy can't be in love, he's too— he's not the type to fall for someone," he read the letter and his face had gone pale. "It's true!" He fell to the ground and the nun quickly attended to him.
Nash looked over to Recca with both his brows furrowed. "You buying this?" He asked.
Recca shrugged her shoulders. "It's surprising. I wanna see this Noelle girl for myself. Does this mean we can have a big sister?" She placed her finger on her chin and hummed.
Nash rolled his eyes and folded his arms. "Let's not get ahead of yourself. Asta's a rough skinned, short, mana-less, buff guy with anger issues. What kind of girl would want to get with him before looking at Yuno?" He asked.
"Hey, maybe she's into him." Recca said.
"Yeah right." Nash said.
The suns rays hit the quartz structures of the golden dawn base. Mimosa walked alongside Yuno, and the two were out of breath. The boy handed the girl a bottle of cold water.
"Thirsty?" Yuno asked.
The girl licked her salty lips and slowly took the bottle from the boy. "Yeah," she chugged it until it was half full, and let out a loud sigh. "Training is— it's hard."
Yuno scoffed and a smirked at the girl. "You should train more often. Maybe you can learn a new and useful spell," He said. The boy's gaze went away from Mimosa, and had went toward a familiar. "Klaus?"
"Good morning, Yuno," Klaus approached the two and he looked over the royal. "Mimosa, are you sweating?" He asked.
The girl wiped her head and nodded. "I just trained with Yuno. I'm not really used to training, so I am pretty exhausted." She said.
Klaus raised his brows. "Well, that's good to know. Training is good for anyone," he turned to Yuno and fixed his composure. "I've heard you received a promotion, I wanted to congratulate you." He said.
Yuno scoffed and winked at the girl. "The promotion's no big deal to be honest. I won't rest until I'm the wizard king." He said.
Klaus grumbled, but he sighed. He pulled out a bag of money and handed it to the boy. Yuno's eyes widened and he looked at his superior.
"You're right about your promotion not being a big deal, I'm still leagues ahead of you. Besides that, I've heard you sent all your pay to Hage." Klaus said.
"And this money is?" Yuno stared at the bag with a raised brow.
"Think of it as a gift from me to you. It's all yours." Klaus walked away leaving the two alone.
Mimosa giggled and approached Yuno. "Klaus may be acting cold, but when he heard about your promotion he was really excited." She said.
Yuno pouted his lips and glanced over his shoulder to get a look at Klaus who was walking farther away. "Who would have thought."
