******Chapter Five-Is tonight the night?******

Jake said he was taking me to my favorite upscale restaurant "The Harrison". I quickly ran to my closet. I was rummaging through when I saw the prettiest dress. It was a strapless maxi dress. It came to mid thigh, with a sweet heart neckline. It was a solid ocean blue with a silver sequin bust.

I took it out and threw it in the bed. It was 6:30 and I was all sweat from class so I took the quickest shower of my life. Then I put on the dress and grabbed my makeup. I decided to use a light silver eye shadow to bring out the bust, but I chose natural everything else.

By the time I was done, it was 7:30. And I know Jake was never late for anything so I started to freak a little. I quickly took out my curling iron and curled my hair into small ringlets. I pulled several the front pieces and pulled them and pinned them back. After about twenty five minutes and a huge amount of hair spray, I was ready.

I had five minutes. I grabbed my sliver purse, sliver shoes and my diamond earrings bracelet and necklace set my mom got me for my 18th birthday. Just as i was about to pull o the necklace my door bell rang.

I ran as fast as my heels would let me. I opened the door and still had my necklace in my hand.

"Hi... Wow you look gorgeous. Would you like help with your necklace?" Jake asked staring me up and down. I nodded blushing slightly. I handed him the necklace, as he put it on I fought back the urge to shiver under his touch.

"There you go" he said as he led me to his car. I looked at him, he look so attractive in his blue dress shirt, and black tie. It made his eyes shine.

He opened the door for me and I stepped in the car. He quickly got in the driver’s side and we headed to the restaurant.

"You can be in charge of the radio" he said.

So I turned it on and one of my favorite songs of all time was on, ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol. I started quietly singing so Jake could hardly here me.

"You can sing louder, I don't mind.” He said grabbing my hand. So I sang louder and he joins me. “I forgot a beautiful your voice was."

I smiled at him and the song ended just as we pulled up to the restaurant. He came around, opened my door and helped me out. We walked in and I had never felt so nervous in my life. Butterflies were an understatement.

This was going to be an amazing night…well I hoped. Maybe I could tell him....or maybe not.
