Gowther looks around, a sinking feeling falling over him as he watches Tana hide away in shame. He knows what this means.

Deep down, Ban knows too, but he'd rather die than admit it. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" He looks to Tana who doesn't meet his gaze. "Don't you dare hide from this! Look at me!"

Vellgrean looks so smug it's sickening. "Well, I guess that's the decision made. Say farewell to your ash maker."

"Over my dead body." Gowther speaks lowly as his face morphs into something you've never seen on him before, rage.

"STOP!" The commotion stops and everyone who was just ready to fight looks at you. "I'm sure under normal circumstances I'd hate for this to happen. Having peoples lives be torn apart for my own, it doesn't seem fair, especially considering I can't even feel anything anymore."

"C'mon Y/n do you really think we'd die to these losers?" Ban drawls not taking his eyes off them.

"Well certainly not you but someone would definitely lose their life considering all your opponents are immortal, you cant fight forever."

It's obvious Ban is getting annoyed with you. "Well they can't fight forever either."

"There are significantly more of them though."

"Will you cut the bullshit Y/n? We're trying to save you!"

"Did you not hear what I said? I'm not the person you use to know, just a shell, there's no hope for me. So it doesn't make sense for you to fight for my sake."

"That's not the point! We came here to save you and to hopefully fix you as well. These these fuckers know how to do it, they have to!"

"You don't know that. All of this is just a gamble, it's been that way from the start."

"Bans right Y/n, we're fighting for you because you're important to us! How could you ask us to leave you to die?" Gowther asks.

"Gowther didn't you say yourself that emotions caused an irrational way of thinking? Try and see my way for just a second."

"NO! Because I know now that I was wrong! It isn't irrational because I love you and I can't bare losing you. It would be completely idiotic for me to not fight for you, when you've done so much for me. To not return the favour, THAT would be truly irrational."

"I see, if I can't change your minds then," you lunge for the frost crystal blade. "I'll just have to do it myself." All of the sins try to rush toward you to stop you but none will make it in time. The Blade is cold against your skin, like it's already draining all the life from you. This cold, feels like it consumes you as it nears your chest.

A brilliant pure white flame knocks the blade out of your hands. They're to busy being relieved to notice everyone else's dumbfounded expressions or to even wonder where the fire came from.

"What the hell do you think you were doing!?" Ban fumes.

"I already explained my reasoning to you."

"I thought you understood how we felt... why would you try to do it anyway?" Gowther asks, through tears.

"I do understand, I just decided that it didn't matter."

His eyes widen as he looks at you, hurt. "You, you don't really mean that..."

"Will all of you stop babbling like a bunch of fools! Vesper has something to say!" Vellgrean barks.

"Vesper? You mean that really old lady we heard about." Diane asks.

"Old? Haha, I suppose so." The sins attention is pulled toward the door, where an elegant looking woman is stood. "Might I have the floor?" Her voice is melodic, soothing.
