We All meet up in the conference room to discuss what has to be done
"I know who killed Nick. Most of the intelligence community doesn't believe he exists, the ones who do call him the Winter Soldier. He's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years." I said
"So he's a ghost story..." Steve says
"Like you!" Scott adds loudly and the room went silentm
"You guys called me a ghost story?" I questioned them.
"Let's get back to the point." Steve says and shot him a dirty look as I saw Scott mouth a 'sorry' to him.
"Me and him....used to work together. We were both used as an asset and tortured but they didn't hurt him physically just mentally because he wasn't well.... indestructible like me." I said as I see Nat and Thor shoot me a concerned look.
"He's not himself right now so if you see him don't kill him." I said.
"What do you mean don't kill him that man shot Nick, and almost killed you during that car Chase" Tony argued.
"Almost." I pointed out and he looks at me in disbelief.
"Y/n I hate to say this but this isn't the kind of man you save." Clint says.
"It's the kind of Man you stop." Sam continued.
"First of all stop finishing each other's sentences." I said.
"I tried to save him once and I guess I didn't do it well enough because they got him back!! I have to help him you don't understand what they could be doing to him. I have to help him and it's going to be with or without you guys." I said silencing everyone.
The room was silent for a while until Nat said something.
"Five years ago I was escorting a nuclear engineer out of Iran, somebody shot out my tires near Odessa. We lost control, went straight over a cliff, I pulled us out, but the Winter Soldier was there. I was covering my engineer, so he shot him straight through me." Nat said
"Nat I'm sorry but....." I started
"If you're telling the truth if he really wasn't himself then I think you're right...that's why I'm standing by you." she said nodding at me
"Well, let's find out what the ghost wants." Steve said and walked out the room but I was worried about weather he's going to listen to me or not.
"Y/n we have to go they gonna be looking for us and Avengers play dumb let them believe that you are on they're side and keep us posted" he said as I stood up and followed behind him.
We left the tower and it was a silent ride until I finally spoke
"What do we do now?"
"We find out whats on that flashdrive" he replied

Me and Steve go to the mall disguised as a civilian couple
"Oh and by the way I know you were watching my interrogation." I said
"Yeah what about it?" He asked
"Did you take notes on how to make your lie sound believable?" I laughed.
"You know what y/n....." He said turning to me and putting his finger out as I laughed at him.
"Anyways I assume you haven't been on the run before so let me break it down for you First rule of going on the run is, don't run, walk." I started to explain to him
"If I run in these shoes, they're gonna fall off." He chuckles.
We arrive at a apple store to use one of their computers. I plug in the flashdrive and start clicking away.
